Hi guys,
Another of my soon to be famous random thoughts....
Are you actually reading the verifications of the people who are getting in touch with you and, if so, does it have an influence on your decision about whether or not you're gonna meet them? |

I'll read the verifications of people I'm interested in, but usually I've already made my mind up whether or not I'm interested in meeting them before I do so. |

Well, nobody would ever show a bad verufication on their profile... or they'd be quite stupid which would stop me from wanting to meet them anyway

Exactly, most of full of gushing bullshit, so we don't think much of the verifications..
A way at least to show that somebody is a timewaster at least would be good.
TBH we don't even bother with out profile anymore, nobody ever seemed to read it... |

Exactly, most of full of gushing bullshit, so we don't think much of the verifications..
A way at least to show that somebody is a timewaster at least would be good.

I personally read profiles and I'm quite put off by people with nothing or just the absolute minimum How do you start a conversation?? (but that's another sbject) |

I scan veris to get a bit of an idea, if they've met someone I know that's most often a bonus as I've an idea of that person's character and whether we'd potentially get on - it's only a part of my selection criteria though |

I don't think anyone would, it's why I'd probably not bother with anyone who has been on here 12 months and not got any. I know not everyone will agree but to me it says they've only had bad ones or are time wasters. |

Sometimes what isn't written, or reading between the lines is a good thing.
Also I look for kind of people they meet and what kind of veris they leave for other people.
There are false veris though, it's a bit of a minefield |

Yes but more to see if they have met someone I know, feel that slightly more trustworthy, well I did in the beginning anyway. I don't care about the contents as how someone is with someone else, isn't necessarily the truth but its a nice surprise when it is |

I read them and yes sometimes they have deciding factor whether I meet or not |

Yes I do read veris - I think it's useful sometimes. If a guy has met people that I know of then I feel more comfortable with them. I don't pay a huge amount of attention to the actual detail, I'd rather not know that!!! |

I don't put much stock in what verifications actually say. As long as a potential playmate:
1) Has some from other verified users
2) Doesn't have a huge list of webcam only verifications
then that satisfies one facet of my selection criteria. I still use my own brain to make the final judgement call though. |

The way they refer to the person they have met and the things they say about them can show how much respect they have for other people, how discreet they can be, what they are expecting from a meet and how they may behave afterwards. For example, if they leave a veri which is clearly stating a claim on the other person, I know to avoid! If they feel the need to brag about everything that happened on the meet in graphic detail from beginning to end, I know we will probably not be well suited |

xxx verifications are a good way to get a sense of someone.....genuine kinda people, none timewaster etc...but I do always like to make my mind up!
