It's a pet hate of ours. You read through a single profile (the majority like this do happen to be women for some reason) and the last paragraph says, I also have a partner/FB/significant other who can come along too.
I agree, go and create a couples profile then. |

Rather like a few couples I've come across on here, where the female has since left and its 'just male swinging now' (though can still conveniently bypass the single male filter). |

I have a FB, but we have a couples profile to play from. This is my profile and he has his profile for us to do our own thing. I report profiles that claim to be a single but are couples (and vice versa) because it's misleading |

On possibility is that, their partner is just curious and not a full swinger yet? They might be open to their partner doing it but for them it could be a different matter? |

The best bit is when you suggest that He waits in the car outside. To which she (he?) then protests vehemently that they are a couple and always come as a pair!

It's not a problem have just read your profile and you explain what you want, it's the profiles that say single woman looking for couples and then after exchanging in some cases a lot of messages then ask if they can bring a friend and when we say that's not what we want they don't chat anymore we have put on our profile what we want and we respect what others are after it just seems like a waste of everyone's time.

I had something like this recently. New m/f couple. Nothing on the profile says he's even bi but he wants to meet me alone.
No photos of him only of a woman. When I ask him for a photo he says "after he's had a face pic of mine"

think some may have got the wrong end of the stick.
dont think the problem lies with single women that WILL meet on their own, but purely with those that say they are single, but will ONLY meet with their FB/husband/chiropdist |

having said that, the OP is actually complaining about a genuine question being asked.
why not ask if someone else can come along? its part of negotiations on meets.
its the ones that ONLY meet with a partner accompanying, then thats a problem, but a 'single' person asking part way through a conversation if they can have someone come with them, is probably a legitimate request.
if its turned down, then the single person has the right to change their mind, i suppose |

Just to clarify our issue is with what we see as someone who's profile says that they are single and are happy to meet couples alone but after chatting we have found that they have no intention of meeting alone  |

As has been said it's simply a misleading 'marketing ploy'. Sell the female to get a competitive edge over other couples. Sadly the fact is it works, and that's one of the reasons people will always do it.
For me it's just a slightly less honest, more extreme version of men who Market their wives on a profile. No pictures or desciption of him, everything just centred around her.
Often in both cases, the women are not even doing the site interaction! It's just the way it is I guess. Bottom line, if the marketing tactic is wrong for you, don't meet them. |

I have a partner and we have a couples profile but also play alone. If contacted on this profile it will always be me and me alones that plays should it develop to that stage |

I have a single girl profile to meet women only but I still get couples messaging me. I tell them if they want to meet it will be with my husband too.
So I guess I'm what your talking about but I do state in my profile that I will only meet women on my own and if your a couple it will be with my husband. |

as a couple with a bi fem, we state quite clearly on our prof that he has no involvement with a single bi fem who wants to play with the wife, it is a solo one on one with me not even in the same building, but we still get requests for another guy to come along. |

I get annoyed at this. Very fustrating as i meet single women and most do try and pass off their " hide away fb or partners" either just vefore a meet, on a social meet or the cheeky feckers who, once in bed playing say " next time i will bring my partner along"

Maybe I've just been lucky.
I don't have issues or troubles meeting with either single men or single women.
