Ive decided not to meet anyone else on fab, as i would prefer a realtionship and highly unlikely gona find that with someone on here am i 
Just staying on for chat but being honest from the start im not looking to meet, i do get pissed off though when people say its a shame am not meeting as im hot, am i daft for being offended by this lol, but if im that hot (which i personally dont think) then surely i deserve someone to not just want one thing from me????  |

Steph, I do know what you mean! I changed my profile last week to say something similar and get men telling me I can't leave til I have met them, but I don't let it bother me as after all it is a swinging site. I just yawn and hit delete! |

I do get that, and know most on here are on just for that hence why am not trying to meet people for a relationship from the site, its just when i tell them this they try and convince me just to meet them which i find a bit annoying as they arent respecting what i want and there are plenty others on the site who are actually meeting and want nsa fun  |

There will always be someone who will want to criticize you. Their not worth worrying about. This site is sex based, but at some point we all want a relationship that makes us feel more. There are good genuine people here, diamonds amongst the rough, and to be fair, no matter where you look you will always have to deal with idiots.
Just be honest with yourself and those around you, enjoy your time and the friends you've made here and that person you want will arrive when the time is right. X |

I met my ex partner (who was quite possibly my soul mate) on this site and we had 3 amazing years together but had to separate due to other overriding factors. We were both on the site as singles and she and I had no intention to fall for each other but it did. Not only that we were totally head over heels and crazy for each other!
We were both on here as singles but had no intentions looking for a relationship here.
IMO I think this is the wrong website to look for a partner/relationship as I think you will find it hard to come across a single guy with the same outlook.

My tips- delete everything off your 'looking for' list and you won't show up on the searches. Also delete the text from your profile because it still says you're looking. That way you won't be bothered by people. No need for filters. Have fun. x |

Maybe this is sending mixed messages?

At least with fabs you know what you'll get. the likes of plenty of fish and match are even worse and they are dating websites.
But do understand your mindset as after a while, as the emotional side isn't there. Some can handle that side, got to be head strong.

I think as others have mentioned, your 'complaint' can be easily dealt with. not by posting here about it but by closing your profile to contact from others by using the appropriate filters, removing your criteria on your profile or as suggested also, hiding it and basically taking control of any contacts in the future then you will not get the messages that clearly offend you ...its not rocket science ...all the best in your quest for a relationship |
