We have posted some meets up recently and have had some interesting messages and nearly got an eye for fakes.
So please do add to the list how you spot one!
Couples:
members for a year - no verifications.
No pictures on the profile
They tick every option from the interests list
The lady is aways bi
Single fems - aka, guys!
No verifications
When explained how to get the green flag, your messsge is never read
Sleep with anyone from 18-99
Adore anal and DP

I disagree. Not all profiles are fake just cos they ain't met, got verifications been on for a while etc..
Maybe some joined long time ago, met someone and left, its ended an they come back. Maybe they use their profile just to chat in the camrooms or on the forum.
All too often on this site, ppl are too eager to judge or assume they know all. When really we know absolutely nothing about a person and their profile until we take the risk of gettin to know it/them etc... |

Yes, timewasters and fakes may have common traits, but you'll be cutting off your nose to spite your face if you go round calling everyone with no verifications fake. |

I have met a few people on here, because they have "straight" on their profile but are obviously bi they would not verify me.

I think the op maybe trying to say, a fake profile will have more then one of these traits - that's the way I view it anyway.
If I saw a single females profile which had been on for six months, and without any verifications, or wasn't picture verified, then I would think the profile is likely to be fake. Wouldn't most people? It's so easy to get picture verified, I don't see any reason why genuine people wouldn't want to do it.
Before I blocked unverified profiles, I would get lots of messages from single women who had no veris. I did point out to them, I wouldn't continue any further chat until they had at least been picture verified. Not one of them replied back. |

I have met 3 guys who ain't pic verified. All were real, not one of them fake. But saying that, I take time to get to know a person and judge from my instincts. Not been wrong yet.
Yes I agree there is many fake profiles on here and timewasters too. I just think if a guy ain't willing to get to know me then he don't get to sow his royal oats!! No loss to me... |

Some people are not picture verified, but have enough verifications to prove they are who they say they are. A single males profile, isn't as likely to be fake as a single females. How many single women, pretend to be a guy lol?
We all look at things and take a judgement whether good or bad, and that's whether people are aware of it or not. We all want to feel that the person is genuine, so why would it be so wrong for a person to question an unverified profile? I am looking after myself by doing so and I would say that's the smart thing to do.
Not all profiles that are not verified are fake, but people who are fake, will always have a profile that looks fake - not picture verified etc. |

I think your missing the main point lol. A women is not going to pretend to be a man, so people will know a single mans profile, is going to be of a single man. Not only that, a user have verified you.
The op meaning of the post, as I understand it - fake profiles tend to have certain traits, some make there profile suited for most people for example, which would be understandable for fake people to do.
Just a personal observation, but I'm not saying it means a profile is definitely fake. |

If you rely on your instinct, you will seldom be wrong, as Judge Judy says, if something looks too good to be true it is.!
Of course when your horny, sense tends to go out of the window, that's when people make bad choices.
I will never ask for or accept verifications, I mostly meet straight guys who tend to be married, my choice, and it means 100 % discretion. |

I had a couple contact me - no pic verification. No public pics. They wouldn't produce a couple pic. The only veri thanked the unseen woman for lending the couple her man.
This "woman" offered me her man in exchange for pics of us. Even though they advertised a "couple meet".
I wonder why i came to the conclusion it was a single male? |

whats fake to one person may not be to another!
main frustration i find is people look for different kinds of meets, everything from a quick meet, to club meets, to all nighters, daytimes,evenings etc!
i have been stood up plenty of times by guys who do have verifactions... and they havnt gave a shit!
they gone on meet others..and no doubt let other guys down too. but cant name and shame.
untill someone is actualy at my door, regardless if i chatted to them on phone beforehand...i dont know if genuine or not! |

OP. Yes I agree they are some of the characteristics of a fake profile. Obviously just because some have a few if them it does not make them automatically fake. But it does make me question them more.
I would suspect as said already, it's more likely to be a fake women's or couples profile.
Another way to spot fakes is to check the public images (if any) to see if they are from the Internet. |

I had one similar, she was on her monthlys but wanted husband to have fun, would i meet him and he take pics for her to see  |

I may just be very sad, but does anyone else case a small buzz when they are browsing the photos and spot a pic from the net?
Sometimes it is a pic with foreign sockets, or cropped in a way that makes you suspicious, or it is of a well known porn star, or on one occasion the cheeky git was actually using my pics.
What makes you suspicious of peoples pics?  |

i don't agree with these, been a member for 8 months never bothered doing anything,just caught our interest again had a few pics up, only got verified yesterday.
at the end of the day you only have to trust your intuition. |

Oh I love a foreign socket. I always ask if they was on their hols when pic was taken and if they say no then I'm like "GOTCHA". And then they block me! |

if the pic is of a famous person. I tineye and send result of all the sites the photos are found on. They have then queried it... Yeah really  .
I have found a snooker player, American actor, Australian gay model, Jewish engineer/physicist, pianist, American navy seal war hero (dead), holiday brochure model... Only one from here though |

Guy instinct, common sense and a sense of realism couples with no expectancy are the best tools to use when making your (own personal) decisions as to whether a profile is suspicious or not!
That and google reverse images (I've binned tineye now as get better data via google). It still never ceases to amaze me that people assume they won't get rumbled using downloaded pics from the net! Sure - if the only search results are from tumblr or other swingers sites that's fine (we - Fox and I have a tumblr blog) but when you get 100 plus hits from teen porn sites - warning sign!!
If in doubt I always check and report any findings. The funny times are when I've rumbled folk after a blatant 'look at me' forum thread! Drawing attention to yourself in that way is never a wise move! |

Always works for us as well. I've reported a few profiles after suspecting they were fake, one was on here for nine months! They seem to have been taken down now. Its definitely getting more difficult for people to fake profiles now I think. |

been on for over a year only met 1 woman on here but from other sites i get more meets its just this one i lack meets on and theres alot of fakes on here i messaged 1 female then the next they either blocked me or removed or deleted there account next coz user doesnt excist |

I appreciate what you’re trying to do but I think it’s unfair to genuine people who are very cautious about ensuring their anonymity on here to say that if there aren’t any pictures on their profile or they aren’t green flagged then they’re fake. I never normally send anyone a naked picture showing my face unless I know the person really well and trust them so at first I was reluctant to send a picture for verification, I know it says it’s secure but I never really trust anyone on the internet and just because they say it’s secure doesn’t mean it is. I haven’t shown my face on any of my profile pictures to hide my identity but anyone who’s seen me with my top off would probably recognise me from the pictures, especially as I’m so hairy which makes me more recognisable I think, so I can understand why someone wouldn’t have any pictures if they were extra concerned about not being recognised. Also, I have ticked pretty much every box for the interests list but that’s because I am open minded and up for doing pretty much anything. I’ve ticked everything I’d do or have done but that doesn’t mean they’re all my absolute favourite things to do and I want to do them all when I’m with someone.
It’s a bit like saying all skin heads are right wing, racist, fascists....most right wing, racist, fascists are skin heads but that doesn’t mean you can go around accusing every one with a shaved head of those things. I realise you aren’t accusing all people with these profile traits as being fake but what you are doing is influencing people’s opinion of them and planting a seed of doubt, I’m sure you know as well as I do that just a grain of doubt about someone you’re talking to on the internet is enough to put you off talking to them. I think once you start talking to someone you soon get a feel for whether they’re genuine or not.
I’m not being aggressive or argumentative and I’m sorry if it comes across that way, I’m just stating my opinion. I may be wrong as I often am but that’s my opinion anyway. |
