For some maybe, I always try to help photography wise regardless of gender and we have helped more single guys out. |

"Midlands based
Hi Julie
I have family in the West Midlands and next time I am down there I will let you know if that's ok?
Yes sure, no problem. "
At the risk of playing on your good nature.. would love to have some pics for my profile. Have just recently got a DSLR but to be honest am still trying to learn the impact of aperture, ISO etc. and of course composition.
Im guessing its the m in Julie in m thats the photographer - or are both of you? |

Yes you guessed correctly, M is indeed the main photographer, I do also take pictures but normally in front of the camera.
We both come up with ideas for shoots and if we do a shoot for other people I am normally choreographing it |

Go and shoot some local gigs if you want to learn how to use a DSLR, the lighting will be crap and you can't use flash.
You soon learn how to change settings without looking, the relationship between: ISO, aperture and shutter speed and how to compose an image under pressure.
Seriously! |

Thanks, I will give that a go.
I've been forcing myself to take it off the auto and to play around with different f stops to see what difference it makes. Like the idea you suggested though.. Almost certainly going to end up with a few very blurry photos lol.. Bt I guess that's the beauty of digital it doesn't really matter if I accept that a lot will be bad until it can get a feel for it.
Thanks |

Took the mattress off the bed and the light was two B&Q outside lights with flex and plugs attached to them! Obviously I had to move about 2 ton of shit from under the bed once I'd removed the mattress! And the white balance was a nightmare, hence there are no colour shots from that shoot anywhere.
If I shoot 400 shots at a gig, I probably get about 40-60 keepers, 20 of which will be worth publishing.
Get it onto AV, TV or M (don't know what the Nikon equivalents are!) and play around |

Yeah it's a Nikon I've got.
Funny one of the video tutorials I'm watching had said to start shooting mainly in black and white because it is one less thing to worry about and that it'll give you a bit more flexibility in lightroom tonally afterwards.
Thanks |

Frankly, that's bollocks!
Shoot in raw and you'll learn far more, far more quickly. Shooting in black and white on a digital camera isn't the same as shooting with B&W film, it's just the camera giving it's own rough approximation of what it thinks a B&W image should look like, whereas if you shoot it raw and then convert to B&W in post-processing, you've got the full tonal range to work with. |

We will be shooting etc so you will have to fit in between shoots etc, you can't be in shoots with the others unless you have Photo ID & model releases signed etc.
We will message you xx

I only shoot raw now if it's a) important that I have enough scope to recover fuck ups (weddings, basically) or b) if the images are likely to be seen at larger than websizs (which is rarely these days). Everything else, I use the Force, Obi-wan
As a learning tool though, it's massively useful, as you can drag absolute howlers back to something usable. |

I'd like to have some really nice pics done.
However, it is hard to find someone who is just interested in doing it as a hobby and only wants a nominal sum. Most of the people I hear from are either professionals who do it for a living or peeps who expects paying in kind. |

Thanks, yes I've switched to raw now. they had said to convert to black and white in post processing as you'd said.
Am enjoying learning.. just trying to resist the temptation to buy a 55-300 lense at the minute.. convincing myself to learn more with what I have. want a samyang lense for portraits first I think anyway

May I recommend Donna Vixen, a fantastic photographer of erotic photos. She's done GBs, private shoots and stuff for clubs plus normal stuff like weddings, sports events etc. She has great cameras, lenses, plus lights, etc as well so you avoid shadows. She's based in NW Manchester, mention my name in case she wonders how you've com across her. |

Mail her on here, just filled up a couple of memory sticks with photos she took at a GB the other week. They're brilliant, just got to get them to the couples involved. She's just got a new camera with with an even better lense and flash.
I've seen photos taken in sequence, cum starting to leave cock, several of it going through the air and landing in mouth on face breasts etc. Very talented, great equipment and a real lover of doing horny erotic shots. |
