If you arrange a meet at lunchtime to meet someone in the evening. Then later in afternoon see they have posted a new meet for that day. How would you feel. We felt they were looking for something better. So pulled out. What would you do?

Does seem rather strange if they put it up after you had already agreed a meet

I'd ask them about it, possibly pull out too as signs they could be a no show or late canceller x

I would feel a little miffed, but I would contact them and ask and see if they thought for you or not. I would give benefit of doubt first, let them prove they are unpleasant rather than you assume it.

We did make contact. Told us they never put a meet up. It was there in black and white for all to see. Meets dont put themselves up. He said he would remove it. Which he did. But damage was done. If we weren't good enough for him when we arranged. He should have said. Not had us on standby in case anything better came along

Funny but we are experiencing this situation right now. Made all the arrangements only to see them looking for a meet this evening? Asked them about it nd they said there time was precious (isnt everyone's) and they wanted tp make the most of their time and meet spmeone after us. We feel at best like first reserves.

Don't be so sensitive. Maybe they were looking for a back-up offer in case you didn't show up?

Brighton - even Hove!

Two points of view: one they thought you might not turn up as their time was precious and they wanted to make sure they got a meet, as per the poster above (hello btw) and two, you think they might cancel if they get a better offer.

Next time this happens, you could encourage the couple you're meeting to put a meet up now then when you do turn up you can have group sex

It could be a genuine mistake, and I would be inclined to find out why.

However I am more concerned of the OP's reactions that seem a bit OTT.

IMHO as usual.

He is being honest. Also the likelihood of getting a meet on a Sunday evening, I think is probably not too good.

But I do like they are attracted to me, are looking forward to meeting me, not with me thinking about their next meet and would hate to feel rushed. It might be over sensitive to some but I would cancel and try to find someone else.

However when I put a meet request up. I do leave it there even if I have made arrangements. Just for a back up. In case they cancel. I tell others I am attracted to that - I think I am sorted but can I contact them if things change. Luckily not had to do that so far, fingers crossed that stays that way.

This is for planned meets though. Spontaneous or club meets are a whole different ball game.

I can understand why people do keep looking as there are so many time wasters on here I always check there vers out on there profile to be on the safe side or arrange to meet at a club if they don't show there's always others in the club you can chat too

Maybe it was a sneaky back up plan in case you cancelled...?

Block and move on I'd say

I noticed this when I responded to a meet request. Even when he removed the original meet request, the meet today was still up. Think it might be a site glitch.

When you post a meet - on the day of the meet it will periodically appear in local updates saying 'posted an hour ago'.

Don't think its a glitch - its more likely a system change to keep your ad close to the top of updates and therefore improve your chances of it being seen.

So don't assume he's readvertised. If I/we make plans we tend to remove our post but not everyone does!

Yeah, but my guy actually removed his meet request - I checked - and the meet today was still updating. Weird.
