I find it a bit odd that people (mainly bloke's) put on there profile cannot accommodate cannot travel. Do they have something to hide. Just wondering how they actually get meets. Or even if they do. |

Meh, different people have different circumstances.
Of course some are chancers and fakes, but some people may for example live with house mates (not family or alone) or just simply don't own a car.
Not everyone is 2+2. |

I know this but how do they get to the meet. On the bus on a bike. Or expect to be picked up and chauffeur driven about..seems to me they want it all |

Yes but what she is saying is some profiles say...can't accommodate and can't travel...so if they can't get to a meet or can't have anyone at theirs then how do tthey expect to get a meet... surely they can get a taxi ! |

Maybe it means they can only travel locally i.e. within walking/cycling/reasonable taxi distance or close to a bus route.
They might merely intend to convey that they couldn't meet anyone anywhere that couldn't be easily reached. |

I have cannot accom cannot travel.
I cannot accom because my son is here and I do not drive. But I can meet locally or anywhere accessible by public transport and when I am meeting this is explained in my profile |

I love the 'mainly blokes' jab, as if we need any more grief. I've seen it on countless profiles. Men's women's and couples, and would say its fairly even, maybe more common on single fems profiles.

Good morning and that certainly put a smile on my face, yep I have to agree, alot of the emphasis is put on guys, especially having to send face pics with a message or you get no reply and instantly deleted 
I have had a good few messages from the fairer (or not) sex and they never attach a face pic, not only that but getting back to the point in hand, also state that they cannot travel nor accommodate, this just sets off alarms in my mind.
I am single and have nothing to hide so I'm happy to put CAN accommodate and CAN travel.

I'm a 'don't accom, don't travel'
I don't accommodate as I have kids at home, and being a single girl I don't want people knowing where I live.
I don't travel because I don't drive. It's no good people asking me to meet them at theirs when I can't get there. I do club meets, which means they have to pick me up.
I don't meet 'new' people very often now anyway, out of choice. |

When we first started swinging we didn't accom as we wanted to keep our personal life very seperate we also said we didn't travel (& still won't) because we wanted it to be obvious that we wouldn't travel any real distance (seperate city etc) for a meet, but we would travel locally, into town say x |

i think the travel thing gets interpreted differently by everybody really. Personally getting about in the local area by bus ect... doesn't class as travelling i will only put can travel when we get a car |

Could be personal preference although saying that I have had a couple of meets in the homes of women who said that they cant accommodate on their profile.
I have accommodate on my mine but it would have to be carefully planned as i have kids that live with me full time, it possible but not at the drop of a hat |

have discussed it with a lady on here in the past, as she had it on her profile, and she said she meets at local hotels only, so its not really that much of a stretch of the imagination |

Can't accommodate + can't travel could =
1: Can't accommodate but doesn't drive, so can't really "travel" far (local meets only)
2: Can't accommodate and won't travel to someone's home (club meets only)
3: Can't accommodate at their own home, but happy to get and meet in hotels on local turf (local hotel meets only)
4: Made a mistake checking boxes on profile and hasn't noticed. |

Public transport, lifts, hotel, club, and contribute towards petrol and hotel etc.?
Personally someone who cannot travel or accommodate does not interest me.

If as black shadow says , they can do hotel or clubs then that's cool , but surely that's what profile text is for ?
