Hot Meets - with regulars vs. first time ?

We have experienced a few couple meets and play dates. The first play date seems to be a very awesome HOT night and can't wait to meet again. The second play date when we do meet again it seems to be less hot and ok fun and we question meeting them again. But still really like them. We would love to have regular play dates for HOT nights of sex that is our goal.

Question is...

Is this normal?

and

If we continued to meet the couples for a 3rd or 4th play date could it get back to even better than the first meet over time?

Anyone with comments or experiences I would love to hear from you.

It's never going to be the same experience as the first unknown time but will develop into something else as time goes on as you get to know what they like etc.

i prefer to meet people once or twice because i get bored with them, its a bit like being married.

depends on who you meet,we had just one reg playmate for over 4yrs and it never got boring believe me!
