Only one friend of mine knows that I'm on a site like this.
I can't think I'd ever tell my family/I'm not ashamed.I just don't think members of my family need to know how I get my kicks! |

A few of my close friends know, some of them would like to try but not brave enough. And my sister and mum know I go to swinging clubs, though they dont know details of what I get up to. |

This isn't intended at a pop directly at you( more a general observation prompted by your post) so please don't take it that way, nor is it intended as bashing singlemen, but I do think that single men, seeking single women and not going to clubs don't really have a lot to lose by being open that they "swing" because it's not that far removed from going out on the pull. The general prejudices of society will likely judge single women and couples far more harshly.

I am not even sure in today's modern society that women would necessarily be slated for swinging.
In fact IMHO the mystique of the Swinging World may even deflect the usual labels of slapperr etc for women who enjoy regular NSA sex with a string of men.
There is no doubt that promiscuous women even today are looked at in a less than generous light but by deflecting things and becoming Swingers maybe that changes the potential stigma that the village bike label used to bring.

A select few friends know but that's mainly because one of the nicked my phone and saw Fab. He has a big gob lol
One of my sister's knows and she was my safety person. My dad knew I was going out and about a lot and made me promise to at least tell her where I was going etc. |

I've asked this question b4 now! Luckily I have very few family members but they probably have guessed I'm here! Half of my friends are on here anyhow, even people I have worked with in the past!!  |

Im a single guy friends and family know that. They also know single guys go out looking to get a fuck. Do I tell them how where why and if I just did vaginal or anal as well as oral? No I have never felt the need to give them verse on this along with what site or pub it was all initiated on. I thought I was normal and balanced till I read this thread.  |

My mum swung. My daughter is in here with her husband. My ex husband and his new wife swing. I do. My best friend does as well. Us ladies have been known to chat about it in bingo.
It is actually a nightmare trying to avoid being at the same partyor club at the same time. Especially as I am the newest addition to the lifestyle so its their toes I have to avoid.

All our friends and family know ... from best friends to acquaintances to brothers, sisters Mums and Dads ...
We feel it's important to be open about our life (we don't detail it all obviously), because we don't want to live a secret life that one day may come out... we're proud of what we do, don't hurt anyone (unless they want it lol) and also ... some of our best young girlfriends have been friends who know what we do so asked to get in our bed  |

Yeah as soon as we had our first swinging session after taking copious amounts of cocaine, poppers and marijuana and running naked through the town we thought it only right that we called a joint family meeting and inform them of our sexual deviancy. We also contacted the local paper and radio but they didn't seem so interested and suggested we either go to see citizens advice or get a life... |

No. I don't tell anyone about my private life. It doesn't bother me if other people are open about themselves- as long as they are discreet about others. |
