Many single men moan about no response to their messages. I've had one surprised that due to the epic proportions of my profile, I haven't recited war and peace in response to his message. Great Expectations comes to mind .

Nothing wrong with your profile at all , and it's not too long ( there are some huge one out there though) . I think you could COLLAR a guy like me with that no problem |

Men and women have different perceptions of length. Classic examples of a fisherman saying the tiddler he caught is a foot long, and the man thinking the worm in his pants is a warrior snake  |

Oh poop it wasn't a "look at my profile" thread, lol. Just something that tickled my fancy considering all the whines in the forum regarding the lack of response to messages  |

I don't care if people think my profile is too long or too short, it is my profile, they can do what they want with theirs and I won't complain about it.
They all have the option to pass me by if they don't like it's length for any reason.
My profile is my shop window, I think if it shows what is on offer there is more chance people will come in to see more and I like to be upfront and honest so as not to waste peoples time. |

You can't please all of the people all of the time. Case in question I was told by a couple my profile was too long and it would put people off reading it so I shortened it. Then I get people asking me questions which would have been answered had I left it the way it was.  What's too long for one may be too short for another. Just do your own thing.  |
