Anyone ever see someone they know on fab? If so what did u do
I'm asking because I got talking to a nice couple and after a couple of messages I sent a face pic
They replied saying that know me and assured me that they were not going say anything and they had deleted the pic and where very nice about it
So I was lucky it was a nice respectful couple but I am sure some people on here might not of been so lucky in my situation
Anyone have any good are bad experience with this? |

Yes we had a couple that we were messaging and at the time only had body shots of everyone . So time came to send face pics and we got a reply saying they could not meet as we were too old !! Well we did not like that much as the other pair were younger but not that much younger so we said we felt that was a poor excuse . So in the end they said truth is we know you , we'll the fem . So I peered at her face pic and just did not recognise her . Turns out I worked with her in the job centre once lol and when she mentioned it I could then see her through the now blond long hair . We did meet up for a coffee and a laugh but we all four never did play . So all ended we but was a come down after her partners earlier hot conversations lol |

Yup, someone who not only used to work for the same govt department but was the office manager when I was there. He still wanted to play too as I'm no longer with them 
A guy I got seriously messed about by about 6 years ago (he was on the rebound and messed up at the time) I don't hold grudges but chatting is all that will happen niw |

I talk to some one on here who lives very close and I went to school with ... But that's all we know ... We have never swapped face pics so don't actually know who each other are ! Its very amusing for us both, but way to close to home for either of us to reveal who we are  |

Yes quite a few actually which is why I always like to exchange face pics first before things could get embarrasing and saved my bacon once as I sent a face pic with first message and got back a reply that it was someone I worked with. They never sent pic back so have no idea who it was to this day.
Seen a few Fabbers around town or out shopping before or after a meet, most of time we just give a courtesy nod as they might be with friends/family.
Another time before I did exchanges messages and meet with someone from my old workplace. Many a happy lunchtime spent in each other company.
Could be worse one lady I used to know got a message of her brother-in-law |

Not off Fab but we were in Johnny Wokkers Bar in Cap D'Agde when a couple walked in and we realised that she was my wife's hairdresser and he and I knew each other from Youth footy in our town.
Big thinks bubble from all 4 of us, polite chat etc and nothing more ever came form it except bugger me 12 months on they walked into the same bloody bar again and we were there  |

We had a baby about 9 months ago and yesterday while doing a local search on here I clicked on a profile, and got the shock of are lives when it was are midwife who dealt with us through out the whole pregnancy |

I saw a photo of a lady with a tattoo and I saw the tattoo on a lady in Costa coffee in Churchill Square in Brighton. I said 'that's a nice tattoo, I've seen it before' and she said 'where?' and I said 'a certain fab website' and she blushed and grinned. Nothing happened. |

Also have had mail off a couple and the same guy from the couple on a single profile....he sends pics in first mails they have a child in my childs class at school they havnt seen my face so dont know its me. |

We have seen one work colleague on here but never raised the subject with them. Worse, we were having sex in the open room on the top floor of chams in newport and being watched by a fair crowd when I noticed our daughters primary school teacher was one of the audience!! X |

We know of 3 profiles on the site that are local.
One female sent her face picture and turned out to be very local.
We kindly declined and decided not to look too close to home anymore lol.  |

Quite a few years ago when I was single, I was in Cupids and ended up playing with a very nice lady while her husband watched. The next day I was helping out at my kids' school fete, manning the tombola, and guess who came up to buy a ticket! Iv met with one guy that lives 2mins away from my flat, and iv had mails from people in the same little town as me which I have said i wouldnt meet due to age/family friends I also spotted profiles of my partners brothers friends and some of my parents friends. |

I phil was in a club wuth my ex. We had a great time with this single fem. Even to the point of her coming back to our hotel room till the morning.
4 days later im sat in my new dentists chair, only to see my new dentist was the very same woman from the club.

It's only happened to us once. Quite early on on another site. A local couple contacted us. Their email said have you got a daughter such and such. Mrs N looked at the profile and although no face piccy their net name and non face piccy gave it away a little. Funnily enough they'd chatted in the supermarket the day before. Mrs N sent them one back asking if they had a son called so and so. We had 3 smashing meets with them and we look back a little wistfully and wish they still met us as we had unfinished business. But we've lost contact and not seen them online for years. perhaps they've moved away.
All good fun eh.

I've always thought that finding somebody on Fab that you weren't expecting shouldn't be embarrassing at all since one cancels out the other! If I got into a chatroom, for example, and somebody recognised me and I recognised them, then by the fact that we're both on here makes it ok! I haven't yet come across anybody on here from the 'real world' but it's only a matter of time I suppose |

I work in a supermarket and have a woman who.used to.be on here shop in there, we talk very quietly about fab as shes now in a relationship and not on here anymore, but if shes ever back on her am looking to have fun with her  |

We had a message from a young couple we know saying "is that really you?" They'd just started swinging, had seen our profile, and said they were a bit embarrassed about asking us as hey hadn't realized we swung. We said yes it was us, and we weren't at all embarrassed. They then sent us a a link to another 'vanilla' (or so we thought!) mutual friend.
