Just read on a single woman's profile this "Here to please myself, no one else!"
I bet she gets loads of PMs as well but if a single guys said such he would have no chance and would get nothing but abuse. I do respect her thought right way and honesty however.
It just goes to show how easy it is for single women to pull and what they can get away with as opposed to single guys on here.  |

I can't see myself ever putting that in my profile or on my status .but....we're all here to please ourselves and meet people that appeal to us and our personal circumstances to some degree ..so I guess she's just making it very clear to potential meets what she's after. ..and she'll get it because she's a single woman x |

Oh I don't mind a single lady or couple saying such things at least you know where you stand with them. They can say such things simply because they can and get away with it as we all know.

Although I think its up to the individual to write whatever the hell they want (we can't please everyone) I have to admit that part of my pleasure is seeing the pleasure I can give to others too. I myself go into meets hoping that we will both/all be equally grinning from ear to ear afterwards.

The sexual act is never altogether altruistic and one indulges for one's own pleasures. I would say,however, that no one wants to b seen just as a means to an end - n particularly no one wants to b _iewed as that right from the offset
If someone posts phrases like 'I'm only here to please myself ' THAT reveals an attitude of pure selfishness n an 'I'm only here for what's in it for me n you don't matter '. Some Men (on the basis they'll get a shag) may overlook those sort of comments, but I cannot imagine many women would b receptively warm to responding positively if they read that in a man's profile.

I know what you're saying because my initial response to many messages I receive is: wtf is in it for me? . The resulting response, however, is delete .
What must be remembered though, is that many profiles/messages may promise the recipient, let's say, Heaven on earth. This doesn't mean the person writing them is not selfish. That person has just learned the art of not appearing to be .
Bottom line: we use the tools of the site and info we glean from messages, pics and profiles, as to whether we would eventually like to meet that person. All the whining in the world, or in this forum , is for the most part not going to change anything.
I think it's a good thing that we can filter potential meets on pure (IMO) "idiocy" |

Yes most of it choose playmates who want a similar pleasure and when we get together we both achieve that 'mutual fun'. Many of us don't feel the need to state it on a profile as it's blatantly obvious.
I will never compromise what I want to please someone else. I am not a public service. I don't alter my _iews or profile to fit in with an image of what others find pleasing and there are countless people on this site that do just that - the White Knights Miss_Tress christened them, an apt name.
There are people who don't like the image and attitude I have and I suppose I have my fair share of blocks. I care little for this, why would it affect me?

I think the op has totally missed the point on the profile he read! being here to 'meet your own needs' doesn't make you a selfish lover....just means that you are here to fulfil your own fantasies and in the case of single females are not here to meet/do whatever guys feel they should do. The biggest example of this is the 'I am passing/working/staying in your area' messages that fems (& couples) get from guys assuming that because you are on a sex site that you will meet anyone and everyone!

I doubt it would make any difference at all. Here's an idea change your profile to say the same and see if it makes any difference to the multitude of PMs that you must get.
