Hi folks, kind of an etiquette question...if you find you are looked at several times,do you think about messaging that viewer? I think this is more a single guy question! I have done it once to a cpl who viewed me about 5 times over 36 hours. We swopped polite messages, and left it at that. I do look at the profile of viewers, and wouldn't message anyone whose preferences I was well outside of.
I know the viewer could wink or message first, but do people think its sort of pushy or not? |

What I tend to do is view their profile and if I appear to fall into the kind of guy it looks they are looking for then I might send them a polite PM. I thank them for looking at my profile and if they wanted to know more or had any questions to ask. I also send the a couple of face pic's along with the PM. |

Way i see it is if someone views as happened 5 times in one day then when i try to wink etc and get message cannot contact user due to filters i assume they are just pic collectors.

Simple question simple answer. As a single female you will get lots more PMs than you can handle. Us single guys have to work a lot harder on here so a simple PM may have the desired affect amd sometimes it works.  |

If someone is persistantly looking then there must be something thats attracting them to your profile
Sometimes people can be a little shy or don't mail for fear of rejection,I don't see any harm in sending a short message,the worse they can do is say no |

There loads of people look at mine but when I go to look and send them a message it says there not looking for my type or something like that so what's wrong with that lol .......  |

People look at profiles for all sorts of reasons, maybe they like your posts on the forums, maybe they're looking at your veri's, maybe they've just forgotten that they'd already looked, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are at all interested. I certainly wouldn't message someone just because they looked at my profile a couple of times. If they'd looked a dozen times in one day I MIGHT send a wink but even then I wouldn't expect a reply. |

for me I don't think it has anything to do with not having to do any leg work, even if I got no messages, I still wouldn't see the point in mailing someone who had looked at me and not messaged because whether I get no mail a day or 50 he's still not interested

I've met and had fun with lots of people who I've messaged after they've looked at me even though when it says they're not looking for people of my type, age etc. |

same, although i do look at their profile to see if we think they are for us.
we also fab peoples pics when they fab ours, but very rarely do anyone message back from that lol |

how does that work?
the woman has already said, if she had no interest from anyone, and someone looked at her profile but hadnt shown any interest further, then why would SHE want to follow it up?
would you approach people in a cafe just because they looked up from their cofee/breakfast/friends to give you a quick look a couple of times?
why?
they may find you repulsive/think they know you/like your shirt/be looking past you, anything is possible.
just because someone looked at you doesnt mean they have any interest.
hence why so many single guys messages get deleted unread. |
