Jack, super player.Wonderful potental. Ozil, almost the finished article, would walk into any team in the world.Any team.An assist machine. Will add 10 goals to Girouds goal total this season. |

yep, 'fraid, right now, you are wrong.
Ozil is a far better player, but wiltshire has been held back by injury.
hopefully, not long before he will be comparable. isnt he more a defensive midfielder though? |

Wiltshire will be another Michael Owen. Wonderkid that promised loads but due to constant injury will never realise full potential. Ozil on the other hand..... |

Owen did a lot more for Liverpool in his 6 years he was in the senior team than just promise as a Liverpool fan I can tell you.
I do admire the gooners style of play of pure football. |

Rather than do the comparison thing my fear if I was a Ggoner would be that why would such a gifted player choose Arsenal?
The cynic in me thinks this is more about the signing on fee, wages etc than any real ambition to win anything of substance.
It will no doubt look like a cheap dig but in all seriousness when you consider Arsenals track record over recent seasons why would a world class player want to go there. |

Must say though having seen him I can understand the Gooners excitement now he,s getting games. He reads the game so well, looks naturally composed to his position, a good engine yet seemingly effortless in his subtle switching of play. Definately looks like a true great in the making. Fingers crossed that continues for Arsenal and Ingerlund and him not fizzle out and end up at Charlton in two/years time. No offence Addicks fans |

He's young, Arsenal play beautiful football. They're not too far from another great passing side and he will be a huge influence on their team. They are always there or there abouts if they can clinch a couple more signings in January they,ll be top three I reckon. Flamini another shrewd AW signing. |

did you see the interview with Owen just after he retired? think it was on football focus, but not sure.
he said liverpool ruined him by using him so much as a kid and not signing a decent enough replacement so he could have an adequate enough rest.
sucked air through my teeth when i heard that.
if liverpool fans didnt have enough to hold against him already for playing at man u lol |

We didn't sell him to Man U and some fans will always hold a grudge against any ex Liverpool player going to the manc's I am not one of them. Liverpool got the best out of him and he was paid well for it at that. I am not interested how well he played for other clubs he joined later why should I be.
He can moan now of course that Liverpool played him too much if he wants but IMO that's just bollox. I wonder what the late great Bill Shankly would say to him or even Matt Busby come to that. lol. |

IMO Fowler was the best forward in the country for a number of years best summed up as it happens in his record quick time hat rick for Liverpool against ....... the Gooners
Sorry to bring that up Arsenal fans but it was something very special as was a certain Charlie George goal another Arsenal player I admired. |

Newcastle and Gateshead |
they play different roles in midfield....
ozil is more of a "10" and will play just behind the striker and will feed balls thru to walcott and giroud
wiltshere plays much deeper and likes to run foward.. he is more of the traditional central midfielder.... saying that he still needs probably works better having another more defensive midfielder next to him |

Arsenal have played some of the best football this country has witnessed. Wenger has turned them into a fairly well oiled machine that continue to make money albeit fail to collect silverware.
Ozil should set the league alight if he hits the ground running. Always a risk with highly rated foreigners though. Look at Shevchenko
Best of luck this season. We're gunna need some too

When did they play best football this country has witnessed? I can only think it must be when I was on a 3 week holiday in 2008

I'm a Liverpool fan and I have no problems admitting that Arsenal were the best team in the league at the patient passing game. Maybe not over the last 2 years but definitely since Wenger came in, if you wanted to watch a team love the ball, which in my opinion is how the game should be played, Arsenal were the team to watch. That to me is football so that's why I said it |
