Why other sites are cr4p!?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I love Fabs. I've been on a few others but found them awful in comparison mainly due to the people on them.
The other day I thought I'd check out plentymorenaughtyfish for something new.
I hate those sites where you have to sign up to a rolling subscription and can't get anywhere until you do.
Sometimes it's what they don't tell you on those sites that's the biggest clues.
No last login date means it's full of dead profiles.
No indication of who's a paid member means you'll waste most of your time messaging people that can't message you back.
Fake messages in your inbox too! It's not the first site I've seen this tactic employed on to get people all excited and joining up.
Does anybody have any similar experience with this site or others?
Good job Fabs! |

OK, a bit heavy maybe.
I'll stick to "Would you? - Above" posts. |

I once joined match.com and paid a six month subscription... never again would I waste my money. It was dead. As for profile, well you had a limited number of characters to sell yourself in. Then they ask for more money for upgrade one, then even more for upgrade two. No flipping way!
This site is great in the fact you get the majority of services free and can get extras with an upgrade. Well done Fab |

It's the fake messages that get me most.
I first saw it on swingingheaven. Making you think that there's a bunch of hotties waiting for you to join and reply.
It's basically fraud but who's ever going to go to the trouble of proving and doing something about it?!
I know they are fake messages because a guy doesn't get 25 messages in 5 days from women all over the country with enticing subjects to make you want to read them.
If you're lucky you get one with a subject like 'hi'. lol

Play Naughty was like that. I met my ex b/f there and both he and his friend experienced that when their subscriptions run out. When they resubscribed the women were nowhere to be seen. |

So no one has any love for adult friend finder? I mean yes there's a lot of bs and fake messages, but as you have to upgrade to send messages you can easily spot who is genuine and who isn't.
On the one hand I love that anyone can send messages on fab but on the other hand there's so many times that someone starts messaging you and then suddenly stops..
Maybe it's just me but on AFF I don't get as many people contacting me and then deciding to stop. I do think it has something to do with having to upgrade to send messages. If you're not willing to pay to send messages you avoid the half-hearted members.
Not saying that fab should start doing that but it's something I've noticed and found interesting. |
