i have a dilemar,theres a very sexy lady who lives 4 doors away whom i have noticed that is single...(i think) and i wish to get to know her more...should i knock on the door and ask or leave a note for her....?????? |

Has she just moved in? If she has then it would quite neighbourly to introduce yourself and welcome her to the neighbourhood. Any more than that would seem a little creepy to be honest. Let her settle in and build up a slow steady relationship before you can then attempt to "smash her back doors in"!!! |

I assume this is a serious request for advice so here are some options :-
Knock and tell her your iron has packed in and you have a big meeting tommorrow so must look smart . If she likes you she will iron the shirt for you .
Knock and tell her your new puppy has gone missing and can she help you look .

yes its aserious situation.....this all started the other wk when she left her window open on her mini.....and from then on when i knocked on to tell her ive been hooked on her,, |

I don't know how old you are, but have you ever had a relationship? If so how did you initially approach them?
It seems that when people, and it's mainly guys I have to say, are on the swinging scene, they seem to have the mindset that every woman they see are potential sex partners. You see posts like this about neighbours, work colleagues etc, they imagine that these women are secretly gagging for sex etc.
It isn't appropriate to go around knocking on womens doors or leaving flowers, it's bloody creepy.
For gods sake just be normal, neighbourly, if you pass her in the street smile and say morning etc, she will no doubt say morning back. Just carry on with this kind of friendly behaviour whenever you see her (do not run outside like a fool every time she is out). Move onto a small sentence, smile, morning, gorgeous day isn't it, cold day isn't it, that kind of thing.

Have to say after re reading this forum it is starting to sound like we may be aiding and assisting a stalker lol. I'm pretty sure your neighbour would be mortified to know she is the subject of a group discussion about how to hook her lol. I feel an ASBO coming on (or whatever they are called now). |
