I've been thinking about age limits of late. I've been asked by a few people in their late teens (19) and early twenties to play. I find it difficult to say yes because they are not much older than my child but then on the flip side I've been seeing a gentleman that's around the same age as my dad.
So should we not think about age and see it as a number or do you have to really think about the age first before agreeing to meet? |

I'd agree with that one, as a man swiftly approaching fifty. I sometimes see a profile that's just perfect in my eyes but can't contact because of age. This is most irritating thing about this site. However people do have the discretion to chose. |

Interesting question
I particularly like the more mature lady. I am 38 and still I have not been able to encourage one to have some fun. It seems there is some kind of stigma to age and a stereo type that puts them off. It's soooo frustrating!!
Are there any older ladies out there that would have some fun with a younger guy that are interested in me?? |

I've hada few messages from guys who are in there early twenties and I have thought ooo two young why would they want an old gal like me yeti would not batter with some one older |

The age range on my profile is actually just generic.
im open to meeting people of all ages, as I prefer to play with someone I click with. And, if im honest. I dont really click with those around my age as our interests are quite different or the sense of humour is conflicting.
however, those older than me I seem to get on better with and am more laid back with.
not sure why that is though.

My age limits 35to65 my message filters are open so anyone around that age can message me but I do get lads around my eldest ones age message me and they don't understand when I say no I now tend to delete messages as there is no way.in hell I could play with anyone that age I do prefer someone my age or a little older |

age is a number however if people choose to have limits its for personal reasons or just the fact they want younger or older depends on what they are looking for |

I prefer people my own age group and whilst my minimum is 38, I would if I saw someone I fancied the look of go a little lower but probably nothing below 36 and that includes clubs/parties too |

I am 51, but it seems a lot of profiles set upper limit of 50....and then switch on filters so you can't even introduce yourself.
I respect that people have preferences, but age (within reason!) is a number, so i find being blocked from contact on so many profiles a little frustrating. |

Age limits are a preference thing the same as all the other choices we have on here I don't understand why because people can't find what they want they thing others should alter their preference to encompass them. |

Our age rule is simple. Nobody younger than our kids, and as our eldest is 30 that is where we set it, although we really prefer a bit older than that.
After saying that we do most of our swinging in clubs and we don't ask for birth certificates, so no doubt one or two slip through the net, but we would never arrange a meet with anyone below our limit, or play with anyone obviously younger. |

My age range is just another preference indicator and fluctuates all the time, maybe I should leave it as the defaul 18 - 99 as in any case makes it makes no difference to whom is able to contact me (apart for Fs). I chose very early on to be in control of whom I contact...just another preference. If I am attracted to someone, their age will mean nothing...but I do find that I cannot always contact them because of their own preferences. I accept that this is their choice and I move on!

i have the same situation. i like an older woman but it seems a majority of women do not like playing with younger men because of the age gap but personaly i think age is a number but depends on the woman or mans prefernces |

Its one of the filters you can use on here. I think many set wider limits but ideally look for within those limits. When there is so many to choose on here it seems foolish not to filter out people are more than likely not for you. |

Ive had alot of issues age wise. Ive been swinging since i was 18! And i mainly play with over 40's qnd 50's (i like a cougar!) And normally get back the line ''your as old as my child'' I find if your patient with people and your articulate and show personilty you can get past preduces and boundrys. If people take the time age normally matters little. !

Depends how long we have been talking genreally if its the second mail. I thank them for there time. If weve been chatting for a while and i like them my normal reply but im not your child and try to contiune the convosation.

My personal view is they have to be at least 8 years older than my step kids. would just feel plane wrong to me to have sex with anyone their age even though they are early 20's... they are still my kids!

At the end of the day ( i really hate that phrase!) Were all someones kids and ee all have parents as long as i like you i find you attractive weather you 24 or 44 it shouldmt matter

I go along with this too.
This may be because I don't have children of my own yet but I don't get the whole won't shag anyone under or the same age as my children.
You aren't actually shagging your children, you're meeting someone that has no link to them whatsoever, they are a totally different person. At least that is how I currently see it. |

P.S. I'm not saying that to get anyone to change their preferences, everyone is fully entitled to have their own and only meet those who meet their personal preferences. Just my thoughts on it that's all. |

In my case its because having kids of a certain age means that you know many of their peer group so I know how lots of men of 22 & 24 behave, how they talk, what their interests are etc and I don't want to be involved sexually with them, there is also the possibility that we would arrange to meet a guy and someone who has spent his Saturday afternoon laying on our living room floor eating pizza might turn up. That is only my reasoning others will think differently. |
