We usually avoid meeting people who live in the same (small) town as us. However we have been talking to a guy recently who seems really nice and when he sent his face pic through we realised we have seen him around town a fair bit although we have never spoken. He has given reassurances about discretion and we are very tempted to meet him BUT there is the anxiety about our closeness, bumping into him etc. Any thoughts? |

A lady who lives a few doirs away from me sent me a message and face pic last week ! I nearly fell of my chair ...
I havnt revealed my identity but politely said no thank u !
Shame cos she's stunning but i like to keep my playing life seperate ! |

Started chatting to a guy when i first joined and he turned out to be someone I have known most of my life! We were at school together and he still lives in the street we both lived in as kids. Not sure it's quite the same thing but feels a little weird. Can i really have sex with him? My sex drive says oh yes please (he is very fit and I had a crush back in school) but my sensible head says way too weird  |

I had a couple send me face pics didn't know them but knew the pics were taken in my local pub, we chatted met lots of times, a polite hello if she came in to my work, we are all on here for the same reason and was so handy they were local, I would say go for it  |

I guess if we were all sensible we wouldn't be on this site. He can accom so we aren't worried about the meet itself. Its more the possibility of difficulties after ...like if the meet went badly etc |

I'm the same. I live in a tiny town. Not too far from you by the look of it and I've had one person message me for a meet saying he thought he recognised me and did we used to work together? And another who keeps asking for a social meet and I've said no because its too close to home. X |

As i dont drive and live in a really small town ive come across this. And all i can say if you been speaking to them a while like them go for it. Could be an amazing experiance with areally nice guy x |

We would say also go for it, as you will greatly regret it if you miss the chance, we all here for the same thing so he will be as discreet as you are and guys don't have a scorn as women do

I think if no matter who I meet and where they are from discretion is everything think if I see them around the most id do is a slight smile (unless they say hi or somthing) it adds to the fun I think I have seen people from here around and just walk past lol

I only meet locals as I have better things to spend my money on than British rail. Also when I make the call of the wild waiting hours kills the mood.
In six years never encountered a stalker, indiscretion etc. I can understand why people don't want local playmates, the horror stories you hear, but it works for me. |

there is a guy on here who keeps messaging me whose son goes to the same school as mine...and he has a partner who I am pretty sure doesn't know he is on here so that's a definite no no |

Someone I know from here had one from here recently and he was over 20 miles away from but still was a problem. If they're determined distance probably won't make much difference sadly. |

Well I've met a school mum a few times and that was fun. Always funny at the gates when we bump into each other.

we got message from a guy, full face on profile, not only local , but we know him and his wife, she does not know, we was upfront with him, he is in same boat as us, we invited him over, and yes all had sex, everything was fine,no guilt he is still on here, and is still very active, |
