I've been to a couple where I knew the host and although they had told me who else was going I still didn't know them. If I went to a party and didnt want to play with anyone I wouldn't and it wouldn't bother me either. |

I have been to three and played at two and one I just watched and thoroughly enjoyed all three so its not just being attracted to someone to enjoy a good party......its being there that's the fun |

i have been to several partys and there has usually been a guest list so all the guests can message chat before hand so the awkward bit is out the way ... |

"If you organise a small house party do you tell all the guests who is invited?
What if you got to a party and there's no-one you want to play with?"
We have been to a couple of house parties where we didn't know who else was going. At one of them we didn't want to play with anyone but still had a good time with each other.
Mostly we have had a good idea of who may be attending and we prefer this. |

I would say that it depends on the size of the party.
We have been to very small parties with about 8 people, and huge ones with about 40 people.
We have had "guest-lists" for a few of the smaller ones, but usually organizers haven't sent one.
Some people like to know who is going, as they prefer to avoid certain people for various reasons, i guess bottom line it depends on you and your potential guests. |
