Hi what do you women look for in a message when someone messages you for the first time?
I generally say hello as having manners it's nice to say hi. I then follow it up with saying I'd like to chat and get to know you. I attach a face pic and I surely can't be that bad but I find a lot of messages just get deleted without profile even been looked at.
Is there some obvious point I'm missing? |

....would also love to know the answer to this one too........if there is one. Guess there are just so many of us that lots of messages, even fully considered ones (not just copied and pasted), get deleted |

Sorry but fancy a chat messages are just as bad as fancy a fuck ones in my opinion. I just delete them.
Try to send a message to show you've read their profile. Don't make it too long but make it interesting. Good luck |

Making sure you fit what the person is looking for will go a long way to getting a reply. I could get the best message ever, but if its a short guy who lives 200 miles away and doesn't meet smokers I won't meet him. Conversely the guy who lives near me, whose profile states he wants one off meets, and who is physically what I am looking for is much more likely to get a reply, whatever he writes.
Read ALL of the profile, including the veris. If the verifications show a majority of club meets then its unlikely they do home meets etc etc. |

Always amuses me that people think there's a 'magic formula' to messages!!
There isn't.
There never will be.
A crap message will annoy some - others will simply check your profile, pics and veri's and 'forgive' a dull one liner if they like what they see!
Likewise - the worlds greatest message (sent circa 2009 - but a closely guarded secret!) will be ignored if you're not what they're looking for and there's no attraction.
You can but try to be as interesting and creative as possible - but at the end of the day message quality is just one factor in a whole host of elements. It helps to avoid one liners and stereotypical cheesy lines - but the best advice anyone could ever recurve is simple.
Just be yourself!! |

Couldn't have put it better myself
Also you have to remember there is a certain amount of luck involved , depending on the kind of day we've had we may say no thank you even if its the best message and written by the perfect person/couple, what may interest us at one point in the day may not interest us later. |

Those comments are all valid thanks. I do tend to try and be creative but obviously no one wants to read war and peace as a first message.
Its frustrating when the message gets deleted and you can see they've not looked at my profile. But I guess that's life |

Most people who have any sense on here will have their profile set up to not show on 'looked at me'. This is because if we don't and we look at someones profile we get messages saying 'I see you've looked at my profile...'
They'll have looked at your profile. You just don't know it. |

That's so true. The odd couple/ woman might like the nature if the humour or articulate message but ultimately if the guy floats their boat physically within reason I bet the couple/woman couldn't care less what they put. Nature of the beast I'm afraid |
