.. and was it a cause for embarrassment or humour? How did you handle it?
At the end of the day, if they are in a swinging environment there should be no reason for censure on either side, but what if it was a close family member ("Mum? DAD? What the f**k are YOU doing here? )or work colleague, boss etc?
Just being nosy, but there's a shred of reasoning in my Q too, as we have visited a club very close to our home and I'm sure I recognised a couple of people vaguely....

ran into a good friend of my uncles at a swinging club, funnily he didnt stay for long after, I don't know why because he was obviously after the same thing as us.
My worst nightmare would be running into my ex husband lol. |

We know someone who works in a club and her mum and dad turned
We hav'nt yet but have always thought it would'nt bother us in a club situation as no-one can say they did'nt realise it was a swinging club before they went through the door

When we were in Partners on a bi nite, we were chatting to a couple of bi blokes who were open enough to admit they had partners at home who didn't know about this side of them. They had an additional nervousness about bumping into swingers of any persuasion whilst out and about with their nearest and dearest... I suppose honesty will always be the best policy! |

Not yet but it's only a matter of time I'm sure. I did see a couple at chams on Saturday who I recognised from when i used to live in Stoke. Can't for the life of me remember their names. Almost played with them too before some very rude people got into the jacuzzi and stamped on everyones parade haha. |

Myself and hubby went to a local swingers party in Devon a while ago and were outside talking and grabbing a quick ciggy when a guy from behind us said "oh hello mate havent seen you for years" as hubby turned around it was an old school mate and his very lovely wife who had that night decided to go to this particular club for the first time.
After a small but weird silence we both had a laugh about it and had a really good natter about everything and anything lol we have always said if we met someone at a party we knew then we would just take it they were there for the same thing as us a bit of fun and to meet new people xxx Lois xxx |
