not sue if this has a topic but i really need to vent today.
just updated our profile and although i hate to make it look shit it seems impossible to get through to all the chancers on here.
are we the only couple to get bombarded with shitty emails from useless single men who cant read or cant be bothered to read profiles?
we even had am email from someone who pasted the name of another profile into our email.

Filter them and search for people yourselves...
I think everyone has had mails from people who haven't read or just chose to ignore their profiles.
I don't think it's limited to single men. I'm sure all genders are guilty of it.
personally for me the worst culprits were couples. If they had read my "looking for" they'd have known I wasn't looking for them. It never stopped them... So I use the tools available on the site and filter them. Now if and when I want to meet a couple I can go find them.

think 90% are twats who r lying thru their teeth.makes it harder for those rare guddens to get to us.they cant even get their own profile in order let alone read any one elses  |

Sadly, it seems all part of being on here in our experience, wading your way through all the bullshit to get to the good guys/couples/girls - there I think I've covered my ass, seems to be a daily occurrence.
The upside for me is my hubby has a fantastic bullometer  and my block digit works well, read, block report if need be and move on xx |

Using the filters, as other posters has suggested seems a good idea and searching yourselves for suitable people may be quicker than checking emails. some people have key words, that need to be in the email title, that prove someone has read the profile, any without the word, can be deleted. good luck with it all  |

This, also I think it's against site rules to put the block list on your profile as you've suggested. Why not as someone suggested block single guys from messaging you, the browse the site and approach the ones that appeal. The guys you are trying to deter won't read your profile and the ones you do want to meet will read it will be put off by the tone it now has.

A medieval solution - what about finding a time waster of your choice and placing them in a stick and throwing tomatoes and other rotten vegetables at them - may send a clear message to the other wasters  |

haha rage over now changed our profile from fully shitty to to the point lol.
our main problem is we want messages from guys as we are looking for someone for the mrs to meet so blocking doesnt work for us.
i like the idea of a secret word in the profile like the davinci code.
sometimes it makes me laugh other times its too annoying. i think more trips to clubs and less fabs swingers.
ive never used the report button does it work. |

No, I've had shitty emails from useless couples and useless single females as well...it's just because single guys are in the majority that it seems to you that they are the root of all evil. As a previous poster has said, filter them out and go looking yourself. I had a browse this weekend, sent a few individually written mails out and as a result been exchanging messages with a lovely seeming single guy who I hope to meet up with for a drink some time soon - RESULT  |

we do search and email others but also assume others will search and email us.
however if i read a profile and we are not suitable i will pass it by i wont email it in the hope that we get lucky and i also dont copy and paste emails |

Around 90% of the messages we receive are from people who have clearly not read our profile. Of that 90%, 20% are 'couples' (normally the male wanting to play). Just a fact of life on a swingers site, far to many idiots and arrogant dicks. But there are some genuine fun people as well |

Looking at your profile Im a little confused about what youre trying to acheive. You have blocked single males but are looking for a bi MM couple? How does that work? Not saying that these couples dont exist. Just that they are like super duper rare. You would have more luck getting a single bi male than a MM bi couple... Just saying.  |

I had the same problem as the OP, so I went down the 'find the good ones myself' route.
But I've just realised what we really need! We need a 'junk' items (well, an autodelete function), where we can set our own message parameters. I would set mine to delete:-
~ heading includes the words: fuck shag lick suck pussy cock
~ body text includes the words: fuck shag lick suck pussy cock tonight today
~ message length is less thans: 40 characters
That would have got rid of about 90% of my unwanted messages! |

We haven't got a hope of getting it, but we can dream .
I'm pmsl at the thought of all the 'sent item obsessed' peeps, who see ALL their sent messages immediately turn to 'deleted'. They're scratching their heads wondering where they went wrong! But at least it might be some useful online training on how to write a reasonable message |
