They've got to be a good thing, as you two aren't the only ones who've given up real fags. Only concern is what may be in them, but don't like the government moves to make them more controlled like drugs, as will push prices up etc and probably lose lives, as less people give up the real things.

You are not a smoker, but you are still addicted to nicotine, with the hazards that implies. I do feel that, as a former smoker, there must be some "seepage" of nicotine into the air I am breathing and that although it is not "smoke" I am being passively "dosed" with a toxin. So not entirely in favour but at least it does not smell!!! xx

If you type "Electronic Cigarettes ?'s" into the forum search function you will find a recent thread that contains many positive posts from people who've found E-ciggies to be of great benefit..

I hope that helps...

Not too sure if you are allowed to say in here but what one do you use? I have tried a couple and didn't like the taste of them but then I do smoke menthol cigs (they were menthol e gigs), so perhaps that is why?

Mr Lincs started vaping around 6 months ago and hasn't touched tobacco ever since. Unlike all other attempts (patches, gum, mints, inhalators etc) he found it incredibly easy.

By way of advice, if the Ecig looks like a real ciggie then leave them well alone, the cartridges will cost almost as much as ciggies plus their batteries need charging every hour or so. As mentioned earlier an EGO fitting will offer the most compatibility and choice in terms of re-filling with a huge choice of flavours.

There are a few very helpful forums out there, try googling for AAEC for example.
