Nothing to do with hygeine... A person who shaves and doesn't know how to wash will be just as unclean as anyone else. 
I personally can't stand the prepubescent look on guys, so trimmed with shaved cock and balls works for me.

i like hairy guys and if honest would prefer guys stay hairy..i find it more manly!
i do like smooth too....but if had a choice meet a hairy or smooth guy..id go for the hairy one 
but i also think smooth does suit some guys...same as hairy bodies etc. |

I sort of know what you meant as a few people have that opinion (the pubic hair is designed to trap and keep smells for attracting a mate, ect if we were back in caveman times) but these days, washing the same amount of times with or without pubic hair, I can't say I have ever smelt unclean with a full bush.

My FB prefers me to be neatly trimmed, I now use No.3 blade on my clippers to keep the bush tidy, and keep my cock shaved smooth. I must say, I quite like it myself, and there's none of that itching you get when trying to keep completely smooth.
