Noticed a few cpls looking for bi guys seem to have verifications from guys who say they are str but don't display the verification from the bi cpl...If they changed it so both meters had to post verifications for them to be valid could make things very interesting.. |

Buyer beware! There have been a few threads similar to this recently, when is a bi a bi or not etc etc... I'm bi, it says so on my profile. I prefer to be honest about myself and fuck the consequences. Lots of guys put straight instead of bi because lots of straight couples will not meet bi guys. So they are lying to get in someones knickers, hardly new and original but what can you do? There are lots of reasons not to want verifications on your profile, some are a little too descriptive etc. What you are suggesting is to basically allow other people to write your profile for you through the verification system.
There is no easy answer to the problem of people lying, maybe if people were more accepting of bi guys as they are with bi women, there wouldn't be the stigma attached to the bi guys in the first place. They would then be more inclined to be up front and honest about who they are. If a bi guy plays straight and safe at a meet does a straight couple know the difference?

People's sexuality is their own business. Just as our personalities, opinions and beliefs change over time, nothing is static.
I think it's unfair to expect people to be labeled, due to some things they may have done before, or due to who they once were. People change, and sexuality is an organic thing, and many of us are surprised at how this can move.
Fab has a few sexuality categories. People don't only fit into those, out of convenience, that would be unrealistic. Most aspects of human nature are on a spectrum, and drawing a line at various points along it, just to please some of us who need things in black and white is unfair.
The more people are put into boxes, the less human we become, and the more degraded we end up, as we're such intricately nuanced creatures. |

Think we need a pop up sexuality gauge with % ratings from straight to gay that you need to adjust every 30 minutes or so, that should keep the label makers happy.
As I have said somewhere before you can't buy a lotus by advertising for a skoda, if you are a guy and want to play with women only then advertise straight, if you want to play with men and women then pick one of the bi categories, if you only want to play with guys then pick gay. Women need to adjust the above to suit! especially if they want an Audi |
