yeah my ex ended up dumping me for one and baby is due in December.. only cost him 120quid for two weeks. |

Ah sorry didn't realise. Did he stay there long? It is quite common for thai girls to tell men they are pregnant as the guy will send money over whilst at home working, or it'll just be someone else's... I've known people that have just finished paying for a house to be built in the girls home village and that was it, she was like, see yah, wouldn't want to be yah... It may be a poor country and the average person won't be well educated but they are not stupid, when it comes to western wallets.
Would he have met and fallen for a prostitute in this country?
It is quite sad when you see the men over there, money is the deciding factor, not age, looks or personality, seeing 70 year old men wondering around with very young girls is just wrong  |

If went on his annual holiday last august. Came back and told me he had met her..went back in February to try for a baby..
he is now trying to move over there.

It is a beautiful country, but, there's always a but... It, like Bali, is very much like Majorca for the Australians. If you stay away from the main tourist areas you don't get that feeling. Acapulco is the same but for the Americans or Canadians.
Hawkers for timeshares, jet ski's and parascending are constantly propositioning you, along with the bar girls and ladyboys in Thailand. I plan my holidays on the quality of the scuba diving and if I went back to Thailand I'd go to the far north for some white water rafting then either some of the small islands for diving or Malaysia/Burma. I can get pissed senseless and lie around doing naff all in the UK  |

Have been to many places in Thailand over the years and never once been hassled for a timeshare,but yeah be prepared to use the phrase "mai ow khap/kha" if on the beaches lol |

My ex insisted on knowing what it was about in Phuket, I did warn her. It wasn't on the beach mind. Obviously just a personal observation. It was between our hotel and the main drag so we did pass them daily. They had quite a large office space. |
