We have just had a weeks holiday Starting at Gems near Yeovil and ending up at The Vanilla Alternative near Bedford .Both clubs were great and met some lovely real people but as for meeting other couples on our travels, oh dear .So many people wanted to meet us until we got a bit closer to them then they disappear .Even had a couple say they were abroad though there mobile showed they were 2 miles away .They so give this site a bad name and we have started to thin out our friends list .May even give up Fab and just stick to clubs and parties and stick with our friends .Why are there so many time wasters |

Because there are men, I actually think it's only men because women have no problems in getting layed. Who have no qualms in sitting behind a computer and lieing through their teeth, for some wank jollies from pics sent to them from genuine people. Charlatans!!!! |

We were in France in May and when I looked at who's closest it still came up the same as though I was home actually so maybe they were telling the truth ... |

Insist your female, speaks to their female asap on the phone or via cam to proove they are real and to proove they are interested in meeting. As it's usually the guys that arrange stuff without the females knowledge.
Saves so much time from cranks, and wishers.
But we know what you mean.. most of our encounters are from a random club visits. |

Hey guys its not just you, as a single male i have been let down with no message or call.. I d on't mind and don't really class the as time wasters, everyone gets cold feet now and then, or when it comes to the crunch just can't follow through. be nice just to get a text and say their reasons whatever they are.. thats why my meets out side of clubs are very limited these days |

As you can see from our verifies ,we have managed lots of fun meets over the last few years. Yes we do the lady, lady phone calls and we can spot local wasters easy in our area . Just when we were away we were based at 3 hotels and apart from one couple who we had met before we managed to meet nobody else . It didn't matter that much as we are our own party but we will now only meet local now and don't think we will add friends unless we meet . |

Cant hurt to have your own vetting policy. Swinging has changed a lot in the last few years if you ask me! |

We do meet off here, but a majority of people we meet are in clubs and stay in contact through here, the beauty about club is that the people are real, when do arrange to meet we try to meet in clubs also, so if you are let down there are other opportunities to play |

Oh yes clubs and parties are so much easier .Will agree with that but would love a real name and shame board on here .That would soon sort a few of them out |

I'd been lucky until yesterday. 2x separate no-show/no-message jobs.
It just demonstrates a total lack of respect and common courtesy. Even a crap excuse ahead of time is ahead of time. |

These days I don't invest too much time and effort in people who don't have verifications, aren't happy to talk fairly early in the process. If someone I know well gives me a good reference it's usually a good sign. But I still get them, especially with guys wanting to come to GBs, I normally work on a 50% rule. |

I arranged to meet someone today who had a veri from a lady I trust and he didn't turn up. Veris mean nothing really; they certainly don't guarantee manners or respect. |

It's a useful tool and we employ it when down at Chams to see who is travelling down ( we get the opportunity to introduce ourselves to strangers!) and we have found that it only shows ppl who are local to that particular spot. Tried it in the States and found it the same! |

Yes the 50% rule is about right. I only meet at a Club except for FBs who I know are cast iron certs. I do speak to everyone who contacts me veries or no veries. Some are no shows because the loose their bottle but turn up weeks or months later when their curiosity gets the better of them.  Others are just pain in the arse time wasters, but as I don't spend much time chatting they are no problem at all.
So being at a club is ideal for me as I don't even notice no-shows, and there are always plenty of people there to play with anyway. In swinging as in life always have a backup plan.

Yes verifies don't always make any differance .We known quite a few couples who are verified yet well still don't turn up .One couple were so caught out I think they had to leave the site yet they had managed to get pictures and loads of verifies . |
