It may be a swingers site but does seeing too many verifications on someone's profile put you off meeting them?

Wouldn't put me off, as long as there's one veri which shows they meet and aren't likely to be a time waster then that's helpful to know

No wbut what does put us off is profiles which read like war and peace of do,s and donts, some people feel the need to write evrything in life which they either like or dislike and it just becomes boring and tedious.

Not everyone shows every verification anyhow and some meet and don't verify ,know I meet someone regular and have stopped verifying him.

We all have different opinions but for me it wouldn't put me off at all ,I like to get to know the person I'm meeting rather than rely on what others have written anyhow.

It doesn't put me off totally afterall it is a swingers site but if I did view a woman's profile that had say over 20veri's I would think is she just trying to sleep with every guy off fab but as previously said, not everyone displys their veri's so it's a chicken and the egg conundrum really, lol

I get put off by repeat veris from one person - it's a bit ownery and stalkery. Surely one veri suffices, more just makes me think I'd be intruding or liable to get messages from her...

I've seen profiles with over 100 but if you read them they are repeat veri's. social veri's, people they met at parties but didn't play with. It's a swingers site. The whole point is to meet for NSA. It wouldn't put my off at all. Plus some people have been on here years!!

Too many people are hung up on verifications. We all have different definitions of what is too many for a start.

Personally it does not bother me how many or how little someone has. In my 20s when I had just come out of a 6 year relationship, I slept with a lot more men than I do now.

If its NSA as someone has already said then the number does not matter. Even if someone has a different partner most nights of the week. Or just once in a while.

I am not put off by verifications.

The purpose for veris it to say the person/couple is who the say they are. I dont see a need for multiples from the same person. Also just because someone verifys another doesn't necessarily mean they've slept/played together only that they have met and know each other. It doesn't bother me if someone has a lot though.

If the amount of someones veris bothers you then there are two options:

1. Move on to someone else.

2. Address the true issue, which is YOUR attitude towards this lifestyle.

If anyone (male/female/couple/tranny - you name it!) wants to have three meets a day, everyday for the last five years (and that's 5,475 meets before you reach for the calculator), what has it got to do with YOU? It's THEIR life - NOT yours!!

And something you need to remember about veris (unless the new summary is published...) is that the user's profile you are viewing may only have the veris THEY want you to see on display. If they only have five showing, they 'could' have another ninety NOT on display. So how do you feel about that? Cheated? Deceived? Foolish? Questioning your own attitudes?

There is a correct answer... If you can work out which one it is, you'll be on the road to enjoying this lifestyle a whole lot more.....

If you view that as excessive then don't contact her...simple as that! Think you'll find though that there are many on here that would view 20 veris as a quiet month...doesn't mean they're trying to fuck anything that's on offer though considering how many there are on this site, and even if they were then so be it

for example, I have a few... but i have been here best part of 4-5ish years....

the only thing that may put me off is multiple verifications from the same person, as that smacks a bit of "territory marking"......

I have seval veris I don't display but that's just because it's the same guy/s I've met several times. I don't feel the need to display all.

But no, several veri's don't put me off, as there are social veris, cam veris, and meet veris. They all add up and hopefully all point out peoples qualities and personalities to show they genuine and not timewasters!

If you find that a woman having 20 veris is a turn off, that's your problem, not hers. It goes back to the old misogynist idea that a woman who sleeps around is a slut and a man who sleeps around is a stud. I actually find that idea quite offensive.

And if you do think like that then I don't think swinging is for you. If I put all the veris I had from another site on here I'd probably be well over 20. But so what? I could have so many more but to be honest, I just don't have the time

To further my previous comment (as i know there's the chance i will be misunderstood).....

I don't get put off by too many verifications. In fact, i actually don't believe there is such a thing as too many verifications. I brought this up in the thread i created yesterday.

Lots of verifications actually leads me to believe that the person is genuine and more inclined to actually meet than most (just based on a glance of the profile of course)

However, if it is lots of webcam veris, then i just click off the profile. My stance on those is very clear. Also, if it is just a load of repeat veris from the same person, then i'm also wary.

Ha ha that's a whole new debate as there are loads on pof. As I previously said not everyone puts on there veri's plus I'm not playing judge and jury just playing devils advocate and putting the question out there, it's called a debate folks

See the problem arises when the amount of time someone has been swinging is ignored. According to Fabs my summary says 71 females and 49 couples. "You slut!" some might say (as some women have chosen to pass me by because I "play too much") but here's the thing - I've been on here close to 10 years.

Doing the math works out to once in 30 days. How does that make me a slut?

Judgemental folk need to move on, sort out their own issues and stop spending (or rather, wasting) their time wondering what others are up to and trying to put them down.

I've had this problem but the other way around... By that I mean I've been judged because someone I met on here has 4 or 5 different guys a week. Doesn't bother me in the slightest, as far as I'm concerned when I met her protection was used. But that hasn't stopped other (I can only describe them as shallow and narrow minded) woman from saying no simply because of this other person I had met ages ago.

Possibly wouldn't of minded so much is most of them didn't have long lists themselves!!
