Fully, no. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt initially. Would never trust them 100% unless I know them well and in person for a period of time.

Yes it is possible to trust someone you have met on here but it wouldn't be straight away. It would all depend on the relationship you build with one another and hether you gain thiers or they gain your trust.

I know that sounds very vanilla but trusting someone is no different on fabs then it is in the vanilla world.

Can't trust 100%, however I have met users off this site. and built up friendship, and we do keep in regular contact.

Nottingham/and everywhere my location says i am ;)

Trust is a 2 way street.. You have to give a little to get some back in my view.. Like all walks of life you keep a little back or otherwise you expose yourself to heartache. Discretion is the major player on here, and that's where trust begins for me

I am way too trusting and always try to give people the benefit of the doubt.

I don't intend to change. But have learnt that on here as in life, you build up trust. You wouldn't tell a total stranger on the bus you whole life story would you? Thinking about it my mum would though! But to most of us it's only through building a friendship that the trust starts to build as well.

I have made friends on here, some have dropped off over time. Others we are still building our friendship.

Back to the OP statement. Yes I can trust people of here, but only to the same level I would trust anyone I am getting to know. Trust is something you earn and build over time.

"Don't trust no one except me of course "

Does that mean you don't trust anyone yourself?

That's a shame.

I don't think you can trust anyone on here any less than you would in "real" life but you need to factor the circumstances in the same as you would if you were lending someone money or buying a lap top in the pub.
