Any decent clubs or anything to go to in the afternoon? Around the city centre if possible. I'm there today.

There are none in the centre. Nearest is Cupids in Swinton.

Adam and Eves(Eccles) and Partners(Bury) are easier to get to by tram, Cupids (Swinton)would be about a tenner in a cab from City Centre.

Only been to Partners - and only once, I'd check out reviews in the club section and see if any of them have a specific event on today, as what will make the day better is the people you meet rather than the venue!
