East Sussex social group
Jump to: Newest in thread
We have been talking to a few others and would like to start a East Sussex social group to meet up once a month with like minded people at a different location (pub's) each month along the sussex cost line an easy going friendly meeting of minds and if people want to hook up then that's great so would anyone be interested ? |

"are you allowing folk from outside of East Sussex..?
All would be welcome but it does sort make the whole thing a uk social group as I just told a guy from north London your welcome but why"
ooh many reasons, one being that we are 30 minutes away.. |

Perhaps all that needs to happen is to agree on a pub somewhere and a date. A country pub would be less noisy than a Brighton pub and certainly less full. Does anyone have any country pub recommendations? |

"mmm.. me wonders if "single" males will be allowed !!
I imagine that if its a social anyone will be allowed hope so"
We found the problem with single guys is that 80 (probably 3 times more than couples and 8 times more than single Ladies) will want to attend and only 6 turn up |

But how do you arrange a venue if you dont know how many are going to turn up? |

that is very true. It does seem to be a difficult task. |

The pub at Devil's Dyke so peeps can go dogging (and leave me inside, by the warm fire, with a beer, peering out into the cold and rain) |

It needs for one of you to take the reins and find a venue and decide a date |

"I've suggested a pub....
It might be better for people to be online at the same time so people can contribute ideas. I'm online most evenings. "
Unless someone, preferably a couple, take control it will never happen |

We think a pub sounds good then
If not a lot of people turn up it won't matter plus maybe a pub next to/near a travel lodge/b&b just incase people want to drink or have traveled far. What do you think ? |

We think it's a great idea. Just need someone to take charge and organise it |
