We all have different ways to spot a fake profile, some are more obvious than others , however what signs do you look for?? One of my tips is to avoid single female profiles that start with 'recently single here to have fun' ,  |

P.s. My tip is, if the profile hasn't been photo verified, then i don't message them. |

Some people have asked us to chat at times and sometimes we can't be bothered. If we are arranging a meet then fine understandable but I/ we rarely talk to people early doors to prove we are real. |

There are loads of ways,profile content being outrageously pornographic,or just one line,pics that look like web porn pics,in which case google reverse image
Photo verification if not verified,I need to see face pics and lastly chat on the phone if im still interested at that point and all the other suspect points have been dealt with |

I have a phobia of talking on the phone so I never do it.
I did have one guy insist early on (2nd message) that we would have to talk on phone or skype so he could see I was who I say I am. Bearing in mind he had no veris! Cheeky sod. |

It seems to be quite common, I just don't understand why somebody would bother creating multiple profiles just to verify each other. What do these profiles get out of it?? It's the same withers cam girls, what's the point ?? |

We rarely respond to non verified people to be safe, not to say we don't hotlist them to keep tabs. Then there are those that as a couple have no new pics or veris for a looong time.
In recent weeks though we,ve outed three single fems that mesaged, almost certainly fakes.

We just let the fakes have fun amongst themselves as we only really meet in clubs. We let people know when we will be at a club and if people would like to meet us come along. There are very few fakes inside a swingers club xxx |

Any profiles with pics nicked from porn sites. I got a message from a 'porn star' who was visiting York for some training. Strangely his blog/Facebook didn't mention it though. If you're going to use fake pics, try and pick someone low profile. |

1. Visible veri's (meet - not webcam) - regardless of time on site the more recent the better!
2. A thoughtful, descriptive profile rather than one line.
3. Pics - visible but not necessarily face. Google reverse comes in very handy when at all suspicious!!
4. Message content - one liners and looking to meet now = warning signs!!!
5. Unwillingness to chat on phone/Skype or meet for a social.
6. Gut instinct!!!
Pretty simple really - and if in doubt at any stage - move on!!  |

I am a single female without a cam. I also don't do Skype, instant messaging, chatrooms, or talk on the phone prior to arranging a meet. Now I could be fake, but I hope not. |

Oh the best ones are single men looking for fun and then their pics either have women's toiletries in the background or even wedding rings on... hilarious

That's a hurdle everyone faces!!
But guess its a vicious circle - the longer you're on site with no veri's - the more people may assume fake! But there's always the option for social veri's and club veri's - and generally I'd imagine at some point after plenty of meets at least one would leave a simple "they turned up on time, were nice and looked just like their pics" kind of comment!! |

Oh I have not been photo verified ! Did not think it was necessary as I have verifications from meets ! Think they may notice if I was not the same person as my pics!!

I do not see time on here without a veri as a 'put off'. I will make my mind up whilst talking (chatting) to the person...fakes reveal themselves very quickly because they are not able to keep it up (no pun intended). I read every profile I am interested in, I carefully listen to what is not said, I will meet when both are ready. |

We all have our methods of feeling comfortable about potential meets,just because they don't tick all of our boxes it does'nt mean they're all fake,it just makes me a bit wary and ill back away |

This is very true. But it is easier for those of us who have either learned, or naturally have, effective questioning techniques. It doesn't have to be an interrogation, you are just protecting yourself. We had exactly the circumstance Bambi is talking about just this morning. I had my doubts about a guy and it took a few messages, biding our time and the other biggy - go back and look at the profile AGAIN... this guy (we believe) had changed things deliberately to make himself 'more attractive', then made the mistake of changing them back once the conversation was under way. Silly boy... Lol!
