for me.. any club is only as good or as nice as the people who go to it....
it could have the nicest facilities in the world... but if the people weren't nice I would never go back to it..... |

_abio is 100% right, people and staff make the best clubs what they are.
No club will please everyone as we all like different things but I suppose the best clubs are those that have something for everyone.
The most important thing is good, secure, discreet car parking.
Jacuzzi's are popular but be prepared to have the council visit at least once a week to check it, and you need to carry out DPD/PH level checks every two hours, keep a log of how many people are in it every 2 hours during opening hours, send a monthly water sample to the lab, keep a log of water temperatures every two hours etc etc etc.
Find a council that are club tollerant (inadequate car parking is the biggest reason they use to deny planning permission)
Check out the new taxes being introduced this April I believe the government is going to charge sex clubs, cinema's etc £50,000 per year tax over and above what a normal cinema or snooker club (for instance) would pay and over n above normal taxes.
Ongoing investment, many clubs start out nice, clean, well fitted out etc but they are expensive to maintain that way and many fall down in a short time due to wear and tear not being financially taken care of.
Chimney pots, it depends where you put the club, you need easy access, local accommodation for those travelling and plenty of local members coming through the doors to attract those from further afield.
The best thing to do with a club is - visit them let someone else have the nightmare of owning them

First and foremost it's got to be CLEAN and smell fresh - don't care what facilities are there if it's not clean. People obviously make such a difference but you can't guarantee who's going to turn up but if the place it good then it should be well attended. Z |

Helpful and personable staff are very important too.
They are the front of the house, and if they are arsey, unhelpful, dis-respectful and lazy, then the punters won't come back! ![](/icons/s/cool.gif) |

We will only go to a clean club, the person who said cleanliness in a club is 100% right for a successfull club, but there are a number of people where cleanliness doesn't matter, personally I think the % is small but it exists and any new venture should take everything into consideration before deciding which path to follow.
Many very successfull porn cinema's for instance thrive and survive whilst being disgustingly filthy and actually get some couples and singles going because of that status.
All sorts make a world ![](/icons/s/confused.gif) |
