Is it against the rules to post links to personal amateur videos?

I didn't see any mention of it when I searched through the rules, but I may just have missed it. We have a profile on a porn site (users can upload their own amateur videos and we are doing), and figured some people may enjoy them. Of course, if it's against the rules, we'll not !

I'd imagine not on the forums, and links to many sites arent allowed..not cos fab fears competition in my opinion, but it does cut the amount of links to paysites and possibly spam sites

Forums have specific sites that are allowed e.g. includes youtube but got banned for a microsoft link.

So nope not unless they are on an approved site, you can PM them, and they may be allowed in your profile but I don't know about that... need to get a site admin to confirm. BY all means PM them to us

we have posted them before,they get all shirty over it as they dont like competition.we deleted it as its not worth the hassle

you can send the link private to us though and we will send ours

No links at all from what I can see. I posted a link to Tesco sponge fingers during a conversation about splashing about in trifle. It got me blocked for 24hrs. You might be able to give us some clues so we can search? Bit of a treasure hunt!

We were asked to remove link to X Hamster`as it was against the site rules to put links to other sites.

We notice loads still have links so it may have been a moody mod or some are more friendly with the site owners ???

I got a 24 hour timeout for linking to an external image once, wasn't even NSFW.

So i highly doubt your video links will be allowed on the forums. Sadly.

It has nothing to do with moody mods.

If you check the forum rules you will see which links are and are not allowed:

Links to other sites

We have restrictions on where you can link to because otherwise people end up posting spam or links to places that host malware/spyware and it's bad for our users.

You can link to:

Any well recognised news site (bbc, times, telegraph, sun, notw, cnn and all the rest)

Youtube

Lovehoney

Wikipedia

So to answer the OP - no you can't post links sorry.

If you see profiles with links please report them to Admin
