This is true, but as the word cuckold is merely a tag to represent the action then I guess what the OP describes could be very loosely related to cuckolding, in that he's not allowed to play, only to clean up.

Without trying to be picky I am afraid you are wrong....cuckolding is more of a lifestyle in itself than an 'action'.

Sorry but I believe you are being picky, it's just terminology again.
Not everyone that tries cuckold live by it as a lifestyle.
but in general I agree, was just stating that it could be considered related, I'm sure there is a separate term for what the OP describes, but not knowing so and possibly the OP not knowing so then the term cuckold was penned.
