Sorry if there are multiple posts about this - I'm getting circumcised in a couple of weeks (foreskin is a bit tight) but I'm really nervous. Any guys had this done got any tips or advice? |

My son is off to see the specialist about this.
He has used hydracortosone cream to thin out the problem bit of skin to stretch but its not worked.
I guess if the op is booked in he has tried all other options.

Contrary to the other posts here, I had this done (same reason as the OP) in my teens and have never looked back, never regretted it, never had any negative experiences or sensations or loss of sensations because of it.
A few days of mild discomfort in exchange for a lifetime of fun: what's not to like? |

Had it done as a kid. I've read posts where some say you lose sensitivity. Now as I was a kid when it was done and I have nothing to compare it to I'd say if it's more sensitive than this with a foreskin then my head would explode, I enjoy very intense orgasms. |

I had mine done about 10yrs ago for the same reason as the OP and it's the best thing ever.

Yes I would seriously reconsider whether or not to have the whole foreskin taken off or instead to have a surgical incision made to to inside so that it rolls back nicely.
I had a very tight foreskin so I had the inner linng of the foreskin snipped (the membrane that constricts rolling back the foreskin). It was easy to do with little pain - just had to lay off having erections for a week or two. The point is it is not necessary to be circumcised at all.
Now I think I have the best of both - a fully retractable foreskin which can easily be kept clean and under which I can check closely while maintaining the extra sensitivity of not being circumcised - and I am assiduous about cleanliness and I think that goes a long way to receiving lots of BJs. Also girlfriends really enjoy the extra bulge created by my rolled back foreskin behind my gland as I penetrate the mouth of their vagina.
The only thing I wouldn't recommend is how I did it - I did it to myself when I was 17 with lots of ice to numb the wound and a sterile (by boiling) scalpel. Didn't hurt much but infection could have been a risk. I should have maned-up and got a doctor to do it like you are doing.
