It seems there are fans of the more curve meet, or the slim/athletic. But what of those who are simply average? No one ever seems to write 'looking for average men/women'. |

Its because there is no such thing as average surely ? its some medium ideal that very few people really hit and those that consider themselves X others would consider them to be Y or Z instead, therefore making the whole thing pointless!
much easier if people liked people for who they are not what box they can be shoved into, too much to ask in this day and age I know. Will we go down as the most superficial generation in history ? |

Are they the ones, which members of either of the groups you mentioned, will happily meet most of the time. And therefore everyone is happy with average and the average are happy to be average... |

This might sound harsh, but average probably relates to those ladies and gents who usually find themselves "second best" when it comes to plans made. The ones that "will just do".

Good for you. My point wasn't how an average person perceives themselves, but how other people might perceive an "average" person.
At the end of the day, the classification is driven by the person searching is it not? If someone is looking for an "exceptional male" for instance, then they set the parameters by which that classification is determined. For them. |
