Hi everyone that knows us, sadly we are leaving this site as we are permanently banned from the chatroom.
The ban was just, an error on my part but rules are rules and we respect them, whilst we didn't intend to break them we fully understand the sites need to have rules and have them respected, and to take appropriate action when they are broken.
So we leave the site with no animosty towards it or anyone connected with it.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and met some fantastic people and made some fantastic friends whom we are sure will stay in contact via MSN and on whatever site we end up chatting on (we are already members of a number of other sites)

why leave the site? the chat rooms are crap anyway, they're like a POW camp, it's just a pitty all these rules weren't applied accross the whole site. |

I dont think its important, I broke the rules and deserve the ban but since loads of people are going to ask me this in msn on other sites and at the clubs it might be easier for me to explain it here.
I organised a Naturist Night at Chameleons, I am not a Naturist and recieve no incentive from the club to organise them but many of the friends I know have mentioned that they would like to attend such an event and previous Naturist nights have been popular.
I advertised it in the Meets/parties section of the forums and on the events board.
Having done this I thought it was acceptable to advertise the event in the chatroom and did so.
Having seen other such adverts like Devs Parties I thought this would be acceptable especially as it is ok to advertise it in the parties section here and the events board
I was wrong and it has been explained to me why I was wrong, Dev organises FREE parties and advertising FREE events is quite acceptable, I can understand this.
I have been on this site long enough to have read the rules and am old enough and daft enough to see that I was wrong to pressume.
Hopefully this explanation will help others not to make the same mistake

Personal choice on the chatrooms, yes we like the forums but the chatrooms to us are the place to be, we spend way too much time in there but always enjoy ourselves, the site would not be the same for us without being able to use them. |

are they? never seem members banned for writing in caps on the forum, and it seems ok to put phone numbers and email addresses on your profile, these will be seen by more people than if they were posted in chat.
anyway you two both take care whatever you decide. |

the rules are stated for the chatroom. the rule is not there for the foums or for profiles for now. so for u to say the rule is not followed through out the site is wrong seeing as it clearly states CHATROOM RULES. |

People are warned if they use caps, or break any rule for that matter in chat, if they do the same again then they are banned.
It IS NOT against the rules to put MSN or Phone numbers in your profile .. strange I agree, but it is the site rules wether we like it or not.
If you dont beleive what I say about rules and chatrooms - pop in one night when I am moderating .... I'll show ya |

dont panic Kitty its not a case of being talked into staying or not, like we said the site doesn't appeal to us without the ability to use the chatroom, no point in staying with friends if you cant talk to them and I am sure we will be equally happy on another site and make lots of new friends (and enemies lol) whilst still keeping in touch via msn with those we are already friends with.

kitty that was the whole point we made, different rules for different parts of the site, so whay are we wrong?

yes please folks please dont turn this thread into a debate on rules - we broke em we pay the price - the way it should be for everyone

all we can say is jed and sasha are going to be missed in the chatroom jed himself as been a friend of ours for a long time now and they dont come more respectfull than him on these grounds we are now going to leave the chatroom side of the site too after all if our friends aint in there whats the point we was mods on other sites and we never banned people with out atleast giving them one warning first this site seems to just ban for the slightest little thing
