Mostly in the mind I'd say. You can get a woman wet just by what you say, do or treat her. Jumping in with 2 feet does get results but it takes longer to get the same results, I'd say.
As far as humiliation, again I'd say it was in the mind, humiliating acts are held in the mind and bringing them to life would probably be the thing that gets them off.
