I'm intrigued by this concept that some people get hundreds of messages per day. You often hear this, but was wondering how many people do actually receive more than a handful of messages per day.
Is there a correlation between receiving loads and being on camera or In the chat room? It's certainly the only time we get more than two or three in a day.
Clearly single women will receive more than couples, but some couples claim to receive loads as well. Is it that they're so damned attractive people can't control themselves, always available, in a built up area or just the cool kids? |

Maximum of half a dozen a day I reckon, had one today so far and that's off a friend. I only ever go into Canada chat on forum invasions so can't comment as to whether that has any effect. As regards when posting new pics, may get an extra one or two but usually goes straight on block list as its obvious they've not read my profile  |

I got a huge amount in the first few days (around 200) when I joined when my profile said next to nothing and I only had only pic, I didn't know about filters then and once I set those it settled down. I've taken my filters off now and reckon I average around 6-8 messages a day that aren't from people I chat to regularly.
When I upload new photos and then go to bed there's normally about 40/50 waiting for me the next morning. Most of which are from people just saying nice pics etc.
I also tend to get more at the weekends but by the time I wake up and see them they are mostly 'user no longer on site' lol x |

I saw a new single female profile in my local updates list the other day and her status said that she'd had 97 messages in 3 minutes! Sadly, she's gone now. |

That's probably why! It can be a little daunting when you first join and get bombarded and as fast as your trying to read/answer your getting more and more! Lol. I was warned so new what to expect but I bet it scares some off especially if all the messages are 'fancy a fuck' type ones x |

I don't do cam or chat but If I'm logged on to the forums for any length of time I get messages.
Without filters.
If I remove the ticks from what I am looking for I get around 8 a day (new people to me) With my interests ticked then I get a good 15 + a day. (mostly other end of the world or Uk)
With filters on I get up to 5 messages from unknown if I'm online and using the forums. Someone suggested being able to log on in stealth, I see the point in that.
If I don't log on for a few days, the number of messages reduces massively after say 2 - 3 hours. |

When I was meeting I'd get 10 at the most. When I go in chat, I may get a few extra messages, which are normally the same thing they've said to me in the chat rooms.
Now I'm not meeting, I get on average 5 a day and others from people I already know.
The 10 I used to get when I was meeting were probably off men who had already asked all the slim ladies and are just scraping the barrel messaging me according to things I've read on here  |

I suspect people who believe that have esteem issues and it's probably not the best thing in the world to swing in that case. I for one don't believe that the messages sent to you are "scraping the barrel" unless that's a new kink I'm not aware of

In a good week I'll get maybe 3-4 new contacts, I generally tend to receive messages every day but these are usually from people I'm already chatting to. |

I find if im online a lot I get a steady trickle,mondays and fridays are busy days for messages,if ive uploaded a pic I get more,im sure if I was in chat id get even more
Never been in the 100s though,ive set filters for the first time ever......marvelous things they are  |

Before we found the filters about 20 a day. So if we didn't pop on for a few days it could be over 50 easy. But now we have had a few meetings and blocked hundreds it is about 5 a day on average. |

If we post a new status/picture/meet/cam we tend to get more messages from people we don't know. We can go days without people contacting us at all and then we can be inundated, I guess it swings in roundabouts. We also find that when we can't meet due to other commitments that's when get the most invites. Sod's law.

We get between 1-5 messages per week on average from those we don't know. Some weeks we might not get any.
It can increase if we upload new photos but have never had hundreds even before we used the filters.

Before we starting using filters, if went in the cam rooms we would get a shitload come through. It made conversation with anyone utterly impossible as the screen overloaded, and back in our profile inbox even more would be waiting.
I can well imagine that some of the young single ladies that go on cams get literally hundreds each day, depending on their activity here.
Excluding conversations with friends, it's now settled to only a few winks/messages a day. We're still clearing out old messages though and playing catch-up, but I've been sidetracked by the forum malarky recently.
Apologies to any hot couples that have messaged and haven't had a reply yet!  |
