Fake Verifications

Woo-hoo! 
I'm so glad that FabSwingers are starting to take action about new members canvassing for verifications.
It's happened to me a few times now where I chat to someone on MSN for about 2 minutes (without cam) and they ask me to verify them  (obviously I haven't) 
I have to say I'm always very suspicious of new members who have been on the site for about 2 days and have managed to rack up verifications. Hopefully this will help to put an end to that!

It's not always that straightforward. Not everyone arrives here as an absolute swinging virgin. Some are recommended by existing members who they may have known/ played with for years. Surely an immediate verification, assuming it's genuine, is OK in that circumstance. |

It's not always that straightforward. Not everyone arrives here as an absolute swinging virgin. Some are recommended by existing members who they may have known/ played with for years. Surely an immediate verification, assuming it's genuine, is OK in that circumstance."
Quite right. I've verified platmates from other sites who are new members.

mind u i do get confused when a member has been on for a week and got 40 veris and one of em is from me duh until i realised it was a name change silly me xx |

Ive verified a couple on here,they had only joined an hr when i verified them,but we have known them a long time and off another site too.
We wouldnt verify anyone genuine that were not, and we have never verified anyone just chatting on MSN. |

we were told about this site by a couple we never met/camd with,yes they verified us as did others because we ansewered all questions and other people knew the couples we had met,even on cam you need chemistry |

just a thought tho
if you get a request to verify a cpl on cam after they just joined the site
and you do it and say exactly that, they are a cpl and look like their photo's , there is no deception involved

I am always reluctant to meet peole with hidden verifications
I dislike people with something to hide |

For us a hidden verification is no verification at all.
Cam and phone are in our opinion a waste of time, yes it can prove a female is there but it doesn't prove they actually get off thier pc's and meet people, it doesnt mean they are not pushy, embarrassing, smelly, unable to hold a conversation etc
That said all 60 of our verifications are fake |

we have one verification,and to us thats all we need,we dont come on here for verification,we come here to meet people,have fun and ost importantly sex,i dont need someone else to say yes we had sex with them,theyr real,

Yes it does,but people are well within their rights to hide their verifications,does not mean they are hiding something, just means like has been said it is no one elses business who they have met.

you see it all the time in chat rooms, women on cam offering to show their tits for a verfication lol
wouldnt class them as fake tho so long as they are only cam verified |

hmm there are new and new , for example i left cameback again and my veri is from someone iv known for a hwile and played with so to to others who might not have known i was here it could look dodgy  |

We choose not to show our verifications, this is a personal choice. We don't wish to broadcast everyone we've played with, nothing to hide, we're just very discreet.
Does everyone think the same about people who choose not to show their friends list, or is it just verifications??

lots of people join the site who are not new to swinging, when i joined i got about 5 met in person verfications with a week and id met none of them that week lol they was all from couples i knew from going to clubs or had met from other sites |

no you can do cam verification or phone as well, personally unless your female or a couple i cant see the point in it, to me all cam verfications are useful for are to say yes this is a woman or yes there really is a woman in this couple lol going on cam dont make you a genuine swinger tho does it? |

We respect everyones right to choice but we don't hide ours. We chose to meet with some of the folk that have verified us and others we simply met socially.
In each instance we are pleased to have met them and as we are not in the least bit embarrassed about that fact we are happy to display their verifications |

but it does verify that the person isnt a fake, pic accurate etc, doesnt it. i think i'd want verification before the meet so i know its genuine. But i think a phonecall too would solidify it too maybe |

i suppose, tho most people do not have face pics on profiles so putting a cam on dont verify pics lol
Plus i dont do phone chat so no idea how that one works lol |

I know of one gent who was referred to this site by a member that he met elsewhere.
Hence he got verified the moment he joined.
Therefore, it is possible for peeps to have verifications soon after they have joined.  |

I understand where you're coming from. I only have a couple of verifications on my profile and have chosen not to show any more. As I posted on another thread you don't need hundreds of verifications to prove you're real and the ones I've shown are my "naughty" boys.
How people manage their verifications is a personal choice I think it's unfair to say however that someone has something to hide because they don't want to show they've played with all on site!!! |

I would absolutely agree with you... but when you get people with the attitude of (which there has already been an example of in this thread) well hidden verification means no verification!, then I do understand where the pressure to show them comes from...
I took the decision to show mine reluctantly... not all the people that have verified me I have played with, some I have, some I have met in social surroundings....
I think the problem is, is that some people have forgotten what the purpose of verification is.... it is to show someone is genuine!!nothing more... nothing less
not to give a running scorecard of how many you have met.....
not to give a blow by blow of what happened.....
now if it takes someone having to read a verification from someone they don't know to prove that someone else they don't know either is genuine... how screwed and warped is that???? unless ya now going to play 6 degrees and see who had been playing with who.....
I think that says more about the people who demand to read them, then it does about people who hide them....

Spot on!! Same with us. If we meet a couple or single that we like, we will validate them and perhaps say we met socially or may leave out the social bit if we got down and dirty!
We did get asked once NOT to validate someone we met on another site. We were a little puzzled so we looked at their profile again and it read as normal. We had looked at the validations, but looked again... All of the people with validations were at least 15 years younger than they were.
When we next chatted in a pub at a social, I asked him why they didn't want a validation. He told me that although people their (our) age were a lot more fun to play with, they had an image to keep up! If we had validated them, they may not have got to play with the "pretty" people 
At that time the validations on that site were automatic, that is they went on the site straight away and you had to ask for them to be removed.. Took about a week! So we validated them!!! 
Strange though, they never spoke to us again..... |

Gut instinct for us. We are old enough to figure out wether we want to meet someone or not. We don't need someone to tell us if they were a good shag, smell nice, can socialise.....as what one person thinks isn't the same as another.
We think the fun is finding out ourselves and up to now, we have been successful in who we have chosen to meet.
We don't have anything to hide other than we like our private life to stay private and that way we get to speak to people who make their own minds up too.
The only people who need to know we are real are the people we meet.
What other people do is entirely up to them and we don't make any assumptions of why they do it. |
