So im 46 and it seems one year over most of the prefered ages on most of the profiles i read, so if i like the couple or female i will still try to send a message or wink, but i am amazed how many people on here still do not have the politeness to say no thanks, i do get the message after all i am a grown up, but really is one year to much. |

"To some people yes. Probably best to acknowledge their preferences and not message people who have set their preferred age below yours."
I would usually send a wink, if this is blocked i know not to try messaging but if not i always state at the start that i am one year over there prefered range, and let them judge then by my pics and the way i message them as to whether i am not suitable |

And if they don't reply, you're not suitable. Easy really. |

Sorry, but as the FAQs on here say, it's NOT rude to delete without replying. |

FAQ's and my opinion are different, maybe as i was brought up to be polite and reply to messages even if it was with a no, but it seems in c computer driven society politeness has gone out of the window. |

As I said on the other post, you aren't entitled to a message or meet on here, and if the person you messaged chooses to show their displeasure at you ignoring their profile by not replying well, I can't blame them really.
I also ignore messages from people who choose to ignore my profile. Only fair to reward like with like. |

Maybe because sometimes a reply ends up with a bombardment of WHY???
Some even resort to abuse, so its easier and simpler to just ignore. |

As a single lady on here its most likely u will get quite a lot of mail, I am looking to meet the minority of men on here I find attractive, not the majority. So if one had to reply to every single meesage to say, thanks but no thanks, he messages why, u message back the reason, he messages back oh come on babe etc etc, u would have no life, no time for anything, and as I don't have the money to employ a full time secretary I will read/delete very happily. Unless u cant pay for a PA for me ? |

you do realise that you have an age preference of your own don't you..
I would hope that people give you the same respect to yours... and you would give to others.. or perhaps not!!! |

My age preferenes are set at 40 to mid 56 so if u say one year isn't making much difference I might as well go to 57,why not just 58, might as well go up to 65 its just one year more, at this rate my age range will end up 18 to 99 |

"Can't say I noticed any difference when I hit 46. Then again I do look 20
I thought you were 20!!
Must read profiles properly in future.
Are you trying to say I'm immature? "
A young outlook and fit body fooled me. Apologies. |

You're entitled to your opinion, and the females/couples on here are entitled to use the site's FAQs as a reason not to respond.
If you had 100 messages a day, you would do the same. |

My age limits are already stretched and its highly unlikely I would go with anyone at the top or bottom ends.. So yh one year is a lot!
As for ur view on politeness.. To me that's more head up arseness..
Best just to accept diversity
Why worry about those u will never chat to or meet |
