Yes, I'm on my third. Not only has it never stopped my periods, but it is also not regulating them now I have started my menopause. And when I asked my doctor, she stated that Mirena is not always a foolproof method of regulating periods. |

I had a mirena for 4 years but had it removed in march as the dr thought it wasn't helping any of my other problems with my pcos and endrometrosis.....when it was in, I very rarely bled which was a godsend really now I'm back to flooding.

I had fibroids which caused horrendous periods. GP recommended mirena but I was skeptical as I'd heard such terrible things. I was also on the cusp of menopause. However, I have to say that it really has worked for me. Very light when I do bleed and that only every few months. And hardly any pain when before it could have me doubled up. |
