I seem to be getting a lot of mail from people miles away, we're talking as far as northern Scotland in some cases, often asking if I'm up for meeting that day! I don't travel outside my town for meets and wouldn't expect anyone to travel too far to me (an hour perhaps) especially for a social! I suppose it is another reason people should read profiles before sending a message...I'm getting bored of telling people they're too far away! |

I don't expect anyone to travel more than an hour to me. When someone messages, I google the distance. If it is more than an hour, I decline and explain. Some then challenge, and claim they can travel 200 miles plus in less than an hour  |

Perhaps you should add something to your profile along those lines then you wouldn't have to keep telling all the people contacting you and you could just block and delete. |

it does say on my profile that im looking for locals for regular meets....I don't want my profile to turn into a list of dos and don'ts though  |

I would make it very clear at the top if it's something that you are having a problem with and it's bothering you. Just a suggestion. |
