Hi
Am new to the forums and am hoping for some constructive advice.
I am having a few issues with people that are desperate for me to verify them post meet and then either winge about the verif, saying it is not as good as others I have written. FFS- if this was ebay I would have opened a "not as described case more than once"
OR they hassle me no end for a verif but then fail to return the courtesy.
I feel verifs can be a bit of a more sometimes and when a really good meet occurs, neither party and especially a true Gent even has the lack of class to issue any such demand..
Does anyone know how I can retract a verification as I really feel I would like to do this in a couple of cases.
Thanks |

Verifications are a feature of this site and not compulsory. If you had a meet that wasn't as expected then don't verify, and if the meet hassles you then they are just confirming your thoughts. Ignore them and move on.
Although it is up to you how you use this site feature, do remember that verifications are to verify whether the person is real and turned up, for future users. If the person wasn't for you, it doesn't mean they won't be for someone else.
If you are certain you no longer wish someone to display your verification, block them and it will disappear from their page. |

I would never verify someone who I felt at all unsafe with. But just sometimes they have turned into a real pain afterwards and that is when the issue arises.
You are so right in what you have said- many thanks

We always see them as just what they are called...verify genuine-they are who they say they are and turned up as arranged-were polite, respectful etc...too many people seem to use them as a performance review or a blow by blow account of what happened...unnecessary to our selection technique as what apparently blows someone else's mind won't always do it for ours... |
