This might help save you getting into trouble..Outraging public decency is an indictable offence. Any person who carries out an act of obscene nature in the public can be charged with this offence. There is no need for the intention to affect disgust or annoy the public or not by his or her actions. By ‘in the public’ it is meant that there is a possibility that more than one person sees these actions. If this behaviour takes place in the private, a person cannot be charged with this offence. Conviction on indictment or fine or imprisonment on summary conviction is a maximum of 6 months or a fine. A person can be found guilty of conspiracy to outraging public policy if that person makes an agreement with another person to engage in an obscene conduct. There are many other statutory offences which can constitute outraging public decency. |

Thank you all for your advise it is of some help, but I'm thinking more along the lines of night time after pubs chuck out? And not in the middle of commercial rd in daylight hours, where there could be children!!!
As I said think more on the lines of going home after the pub (midnight ish no children or grandchildren) and stopping in a doorway or side street, a few people go past, take no real notice, BUT if I were caught? They phoned the police? Or I got spotted on cctv, that's what I want to know, I dont won't to go to prison, so this is why I'm trying to find out now?
Or what about on a nudist beach? Or do you get children on nudest beaches? (That would put that scenario out of the question? ) Thank you for all of your advise, |

really. So you have never had a back street fumble on your way home from a night out... Thought it was kinda the given...
But anyway... Don't know what can happen but I've done all manor of things outside or in public but I'm considerate.. I just make as much effort to not be seen as I can... As long as your not blatant about it then most people wouldn't even notice.
If I'm going to do it in say back of a night club or something I will get the guy to the edge by other means then at last minute discretely drop my head..
of course I mostly did this In my youth before cctv everywhere but have had more recent incidents..
just be aware of your surroundings and be conscious of others around... Keep as much of you hidden as possible... But if done right it's great.
I've mostly done it spur of the moment when passions have got to high..

The question has been answered. It is an offence, the only question is exactly what you would be charged with. Outraging public decency would be the lightest option I would think. Nearly all the possible offences cary possible prison sentences.
It's the old saying........"if you can't do the time, don't do the crime."
I also believe that our antiquated legal system is somewhat harsher, even these days when the offences involve male homosexuality. Don't forget that IN LAW a tv or pre op ts is a man (it may not be fair, but it is the law) which may increase the risk. |

I find it very offensive that you're even suggesting a nudist beach. Us genuine nudists get a bad name beacause of people like you. It doesn't matter if children are present or not! Naturism and swinging are totally different,how ignorant can you be ? Unreal |

I honestly don't know. I have been caught short once or twice in the past by A police officer.. was dressed and covered , just got told to wait till we got home.. after they had made sure I was okay.. however I am sure the laws have changed..
I honestly can't say being arrested for what I was doing ever crossed my mind... |
