sorry missed your question on the other thread.
it's a porn cinema, mostly full of pervy older men.. and they mostly sat in the back row and thats where a lot of the bi action took place.
I am easy .... but fussy whose auld gums go roond my chopper ...  in the dark...
no offence meant to them tho..
and I am 50 , so we speaking 65 upwards to merit me saying older... they need fun too and good on em

its far from glitzy hun lol and for us the improvements have taken away some of the seediness which we liked about the place.
To the OP if you use the search function on the forum there was a thread about the empire a few weeks back.
But i would say empire is not for the faint hearted or for couples new to the scene Imo. |

I would never go their for one it is seedy and purvy and I wouldnt like it and for another my uncle's freind owns it and he is their a lot helping out. ((shivering thinking asbout it)) he is a purvy old man and freeked me out as a child..sorry family tree he he
there is a shop their too though and we have been there acouple of times |

Is a woman a slapper or slag because she has lots of sex - of course not and anyone who thinks she is shouldn't be on this site, yet there are many people who think Fem = slapper Male = Stud.
So by the same token why do perverts have to be old men ?
I am 55 next month (and slipping in loads of airtime here about my birthday )
So I am old, I am male, I like sex, I actively seek sex and I often look at women in a sexual way - are you saying I am a pervert ? if so I am deeply offended.
Old men = pervert young men = stud or jack the lad - see girls it's not just you.
Have you read some of the posts on here or in the events section, have you seen how many guy aged 20 - 25 use those cinema's or seek sex on here ? What lable do they come under ? perverts ? Studs ?

what? I said pervy old men due to the fact I visited it a few times and on those occasions the clientele were approx 75% of the men hazarding a guess 60 year plus..upto 80 ish
that was day time and maybe there was pensioner specials..
if what I saw does not reflect the clientele today... apologies to the empire cinema club |

Some people protest too much. They seem to jump up and down, well as much as their arthritic joints will allow, on every single post where age is mentioned!
I have to thank them because they've given me an insight into myself. I'm 50 this year and not happy about it and I'm becoming a nightmare to my nearest and dearest. Thankfully I've yet to take out my fear of heading to God's waiting room out on strangers yet!!
Will continue taking the evening primrose and seven seas and turn down the batteries on my hearing aid to not hear the passing of time and enjoy |

I have no problem with my age sassy I love my age, I certainly have more fun now than I did when I was younger and more than many a younger man.
I do object, not to what was said in here, that was non-directive, non personal but was a reflection on how older men are percieved, if it is wrong to mention that fact then I appologise without reservation.
But the fact remains, get to a certain age and your called a pervert and that is wrong now matter how you dress it up.
Do you like people to call you fat ?
Would you be wrong to object to people saying that about you ?
Anything said that causes discomfort or hurt to another person has no place here, instead of defending peoples right to do that people should look at how they would feel.
I like larger people but I understand why they feel hurt when called fattie or lard arse, why then do people feel the need to belittle someone for being called a pervert ? nobody was ever sent to prison for being large, there are a lot of perverts in prison.

I referenced them as pervy not because of their age but the fact that it is a sex cinema and they make pests of themselves by not taking no as an answer.if people were playing and said no, they just stood in the hope that people would change their mind.. they touched me without any encouragement and in my book thats unacceptable and when I said no thanks they would follow in the hope I changed my mind.
equally, I am sure there are pervy younger men doing the same..
and imho the reference to the jessica and holly case was a tad uncalled for..
I am on block so does pose the question if anyone else had posted would you have had the same outburst..
a tad silly & over reaction in anyone's book..

You know you really shouldn't get abusive in forums, it isn't good for your blood pressure, calling me petty doesn't actually have any affect on me.
Forums are for voicing opinions, it doesn't matter if those opinions are right or wrong, they are personal opinions and everyone has a right to air them, everyone has a right to comment on what people write, providing they do not resort to personal abuse, anyone reading my post properly will see that there was support for large people not abuse, anyone can see that it was a generalisation of how older men are percieved, lord knows I said it enough.
The forums are for everyone, get over that. |

It would seem that the clientelle of this cinema are by your own description perverts, judging by what others here have said.... they interpreted wrongly or badly, and attempted to debase.... others actions and wishes by not taking no as an answer and continuing to follow them about and pester them.
The fact the ones mentioned by previous posters were all over a certain age would imply they are 'older' perverts. |

Laine, I understand what your saying but you dont understand what I am saying and so many others but not all.
It has nothing to do with what was said here, it has nothing to do with the cinema.
I was simply pointing out that in general we talk about sex and any older guy and the word pervert comes out.
It is as offensive as describing people by colour, class, size or in any other hurtfull and derogatory manor.
Calling someone large is simply a description, calling someone fat is insulting and hurtfull.
The same thing applies to older gentlemen, (normally when they reach 60 seems to be the main trigger as reaching a size 16 is for large people)
Older gentlemen can be perverts but so can younger, to label them as that without evidence is insulting and derogatory, I simply pointed out that the word is used far to easily when describing what could be a nice guy (pests at cinemas not included)
The only thing I did wrong was to put it on this thread when in truth the subject deserves a thread of its own |

not sure if you are thanking me. I think you may be, if so.. thank you very much.
As I say... I should have used 'nuisance' instead of pervy as I didn't fully appreciate the sensitivity that some people hold on the matter. I do now and fully understand why.

No View it was not to you, sorry for not making that clear but I have said in here that it was not about what you said as such, I didnt really take offence at that because I dont believe it was really meant to be offensive, I was however using what you said as an example to highlight how older men are percieved and insulted generally in the swinging scene but moreso outside it. |
