If either party has insecurities about either themself, their partner or their relationship, becoming involved with the swinging scene is not adviseable imho.

I started to swing with my ex,we only played with women (his choice not mine). I let him have sex with other women,i arranged the women for us. But he still felt the need to meet behind my back,was just greedy i guess |

If the idea/ or the practice of swinging were to put a strain on the relationship then there is something not quite right with the relationship and that needs to be addressed beforehand. I have seen couples at parties where there seemed to be issues of jealousy and insecurity and it is not healthy.

It would, for me, depend on the content and context of the text and whether the partner was open and patent with me about them.

As others have said there is no room for jealousy or insecurities is swinging, and if the couple had these before they started to meet!! Well it's asking for disaster! Honesty and communication are key in this life style!!
And as long as the texts were open for both to see! Can't see how it's deemed as cheating!

I wouldn't use the word permission but if texts or phonecalls were being excahnged without my knowledge then I'd be more tham miffed and A would feel the same. Its one of the reasons we have issues with guys who contact us and direct all their messages to me alone, we're not interested in doing any of this behind the others back. |

We met a couple where after we met the male half of the couple tested crystal an awful lot. Nothing inappropriate but the frequency was a little OTT. we've never met them again because of it and rarely swap numbers now.
crystal did nothing wrong and no drama here but id have been more than miffed if she'd been initiating that much contact. |

Yep .. I fell out of lust with my ex and started to swing to see if it would re ignite my flame .. Alas my flame was super charged by the variety and change of partners and did not re ignite for our relationship to survive .
He was jealous of the "new " me , despite being in a relationship with his lady half his age who is in an open marriage . He likes commitment , I don't .. Simple ... But we live under same roof to bring young family up .
I am not in the slightest , jealous or envious of his young lover ... I am very very happy she can give him what I can't ... Win win situation  |

It nearly broke us up when we first came on here a few years ago, with hindsight I wasn't ready for it.
This time we came on here it was my suggestion and so far we haven't had even a brief moment of jealousy. We talk everything through in detail, usually more than once and this time around I think its made us closer than ever

It has only strengthened our relationship, having the total honesty and transparency means there is no lack of trust!
We started out as swingers and occasionally we do play with other couples but our play time is becoming more cuckold/hotwife by nature and I personally love it.
I speak for myself but I feel closer and love RG more than anyone else before. |

No, infact the opposite its brought as together more and made our relationship stronger.
We know what fantasies we both have, and what we are interested in doing. We know the types of people the other is into so makes it easier when it comes to meeting others.

yes my relationship broke up due to a woman he met.
she got way to close to him and my children, called herself second mummy to them, tried to have ex's child and told me she might try it because everyone would be happy. so many other things and now they are dating because he loves her more than me and we are still living together which sucks!
I did fall in love myself with a guy and its been great for a long time now but I loved him and my ex very much, I didn't love one more but my ex did.
I won't be making the same mistake again. |
