Thinking of having a full wax but rather scared of the pain... I've had my eyes brows done a million times and use to that but I no it will be different.

Any good/bad stories? X

Not keen on waxing down below......always suffered from in-growing hairs which looked sore and spotty........I'm more of a veet fan, but would consider laser treatment too but pricey

got laser now, but waxed before (as shaving gave ingrowns). The pain was not half bad but if you are worried get some numbing cream...

take some nurofen beforehand. I much prefer waxing to any other sort of hair removal...

the more you do it the less your hair grows back..

I've just started waxing,it hurt a tiny bit but I liked it (odd, I know) but a bit awkward to get rid of everything on your own...

Yes I use veet with no prolems, takes 5 mins and never had ingrown hairs after like I get with shaving or waxing both of which I find itch when growing back too.......not a great look !

Do you have everything waxed or is there a limit to where they will go? X

I get waxed at a place in Radcliffe and they are amazing! Be prepared to leave your dignity at the door but all they do is waxing so they do it properly rather than beauticians who do a bit of everything iykwim. PM me if you want their details. They aren't the most local place I could use but definitely the best x

I'm a wax fan, swapped to shaving for a bit and have awful rashes every time which were sore and looked horrific!

Veet burns like a bitch on my skin even the sensitive one for bikini and immac the same. After the first twice the pain is almost nothing and if u exfoliate well te chance of ingrowing hair is minimal

An ex of mine swore by a product called tend skin, you can get it on amazon . It prevented the ingrown hairs and rash.

Yes I agree with this, have been waxed monthly for 8 years now and it reduces regrowth considerably over time. Some months I have to push it back another week so to have enough to take off! And pain wise you get use to it, is over in minutes x

Emma gets irritated by wax, but there is also sugaring. same style of treatment, but a sugar based material not wax. A lot cleaner and easier to use, so much so we have a home kit.

Test on a small area first.

Waxing doesn't work for me as some of the hair is snapped and not pulled out so I end up with almost immediate regrowrh in patches. This is my pits and legs only though, there's no way I'd wax me minge.

I got into waxing last year and loved it - I was always put off by the thought of the pain but it didn't hurt as much as I thought but recently have had in growing hairs which really didn't look attractive so I went back to shaving.

Thinking of having another wax again.

Haven't tried the creams - may I will give that a go instead

always use veet for hair removal and have no problems at all, even oh uses it too! find it so much easier than shaving, no niks and no pain like with waxing

Hubby and I both wax now tried a few different ones you need to find one that uses hot wax for intimate not the strip wax using paper doesnt hurt so much and broken hairs is bad waxing technique ours has thinned and regrowth is soft hair. We use shaniwax in essex even get a couples discount lol.

Waxed for years. Hurt first time and can be a bit more sensitive if you go just before you come on. I recommend the Australian body care after wax lotion. Prevents in growing hairs and calms the skin afterwards. Try and get the high % tea tree in the Luton that is "salon grade". As that's the best. Got a1500 ml bottle from Amazon. Good luck. My shins hurt more that my lady parts! ! Xx

Full bcs Hollywood4man chest etc used to shave would not go back. You just need to get over the thought of it hurting wasnt as bad as I thought. Now its easy. Tried magic powder etc not as good and waxing gets less and less regrowth hair is thinner. Smooth lol
