I'm not gonna lie and say looks don't count but I go for a good personality every time. If you are super hot but have the personality of a wet dishtowel, what's the fun in that?  |

Can't be anything else mate.
Was an " ex " standup in the " big smoke " although fair to say that the " ex " prefix merits further inspection.

I would go for the more interesting profile/message
I don't tend to look for eharmony levels of personal expression on here but it's good to know that you've got a sense of humour and something between your ears.

I would message the better looking one first in hope he had a good personality if we got chatting for a while, if it turned out he had'nt id wait till another good looking man mailed me who did. I wouldn't settle for a guy I wasn't attracted to just because he was a nice guy |

Its often the case that after receiving a "fancy a fuck" message from a guy we check his profile & its says something like "will fill in later".
It actually tells us everything we need to know about the persons personality. |

I don't think it is even the fact of going the extra mile... just a case of someone putting some actual thought into what they write and who it is aimed at.... as opposed to dulling out a tons of generic phrases which don't mean anything......

I totally agree! I think my profile may come across as a little angry and scary which are two things I am not but I have found that it has helped attract peeps who can see the intended humour in it. |

I would prefer the funny interesting message than an uninspiring message from a hot sex god. I'm not impressed by hot bodies, I can't keep up with the gym types either. A guy I can get on with, have silly chats with is more important to me. |

Having over the years come to realise just how important the right kind of chemistry is when it comes to swinging, I did my best to ensure that my profile was written in such a way as to outline pretty much exactly what it is I'm looking for out of swinging, though sometimes, I wonder if the whole thing reads a bit heavy and perhaps alienates me from swinging newcomers. |

If someone has the ability to write good prose, then they can make themselves seem far more interesting in their profile spiel than may actually be the case :D
Of course, for me at least, being able to string a sentence or two together in a pleasing fashion is a couple of points in the positive column already. Sad how few actually manage it  *Insert comment about the woeful state of national education as you please* |

Personality! A good intro message certainly helps too. Mr Gorgeous, with the big tool, who can't be bothered......he probs can't be bothered putting the effort in to please me.

Very much personality, if a guy can make me smile and laugh, then he's almost on to a winner, there still has to be some physical attraction tho, gorgeous but dull doesn't work for me. |
